When Jaune's forged transcripts were rebuffed, his only option was to return home in disgrace or forge a new life in Vale. Opening a diner was an impetuous decision, being good at it a stroke of luck. Becoming the favourite haunt for students, teachers and criminals alike…? That was neither, but it sure did keep things interesting. Wasn't the civilian life supposed to be easier?

Their first year at Beacon is complete, and summer is breaking teams apart. Some students will come back changed, none more than Jaune Arc. Training with a mysterious figure he refuses to name, Jaune has added to his arsenal as a huntsman, and a person. It remains to be seen what he will do with these new weapons. Jaune Arc wanted to be a hero. To help people, protect them. But destiny had other ideas, unfortunately, and he was born with a body broken to the point he couldn't. Instead, he sought a different way to help people. If he could not wield the weapons of Man to protect Man, then he would make them for others to wield in his stead.

When Jaune Arc was just a small child, his mother gave him a tiny seed to grow and nurture as a way to learn responsibility. His father gave him a useless Dust Shard to study power and focus. Little did he know the milk-loving, cinnamon roll leader of Team RWBY was a sucker for chivalry and noodles. Not to mention Yang Xiao Long just loved playing matchmaker.

Jaune once had the desire of becoming a hero. While that desire still remained, he had a new goal by the time he tried to enter Beacon. But while he may have entered Beacon, it wasn't as a student, much to his own surprise. And now he must contend with the perils of his new job whilst preparing to combat a great threat. A story revolving around Pyrrha's affections for her goofball of a leader, Jaune's total obliviousness and all the hijinks in between. And of course, the rest of the RWBY cast will be there to put in their own useless opinions.

After a successful mission, Pyrrha wake up changed. Now she need to adapt to a new life, while her valiant knight and precious friends help her to adapt on her new situation.

Yang starts to hang with Jaune more, and slowly both learn more about each other, as feelings they didn't had before starts to grow inside them. During the next seven days, they will go from friends to lovers, while learning certain things are not as complicated as they think.

Jaune and Blake are dating. No one else really gets it.

It began after I got rejected by Signal again, though at the time I had no idea what was happening.
