Way back in 1998 I started writing Stargate Sg1 stories under the name chrisbod, and over the next 4 years I slowly (some might say painfully slowly) wrote several series and standalone stories which I posted on my webite The Udjat. Along with the fantastic Tanya I was also involved in the Word-a-Month site, where a different word was chosen each month and writers submitted stories based on that word.

From late 2002 / early 2003 the writing gradually petered out and the sites lay fallow under they finally disappeared in 2005. Fast forward to July 2011 and I received an email about one of my old stories. Once I had picked myself up off the floor I went hunting for copies of the stories. Between 2003 and now I've had 2 new computers and numerous new hard drives, none of which had copies of the stories on them. Eventually I found my dusty backup CD of the website and loaded the stories on my computer. I sat down to glance through them and although some of the earlier stories are a tad rough (hey, I wrote a Mary Sue before I even knew what one was!) they brought back the memories of how much I enjoyed writing them.

So I have decided to post the stories again in the hope that it will prompt me to finish the WIP's that have languished since 2002. I can't remember what my original thoughts were regarding the plot, but I'm sure that re-reading them will jog my failing memory.
