As Emma recovers at the mansion from an encounter with Storybooke's latest threat, nightmares start to plague her from the trauma she suffered as a child. As Regina comforts her, the women grow ever closer. When Regina is attacked, Emma vows to do everything she can to protect the now terrified and vulnerable mayor. Slow burn SQ.

Posted for SwanQueenWeek 2013: "Body Swap." Regina and Emma wake up each in the other's body, and must fix the situation. Along the way they learn a great deal about each other, and themselves. Time frame is post-"The Cricket Game" in mid-season 2, though there are some events conveniently rearranged to serve the plot.

Emma arrives at the cannery to drag Regina to safety. While the brunette is recovering from her ordeal, Emma opts to seclude and protect her in hopes of stalling her captors. However, the blonde has bitten off more than she bargained for.

Henry's faith in the curse is tested when the sheriff leaves Storybrooke. When bad things happen can Regina convince Emma to help her make things right?
