The year is nineteen-forty and Zootopia stands alone against the Cud Reich. To escape the blitz, children in all major cities are evacuated out into the country. Nicholas Wilde finds himself staying with Judy Hopps and has to settle in. Both duty and adventure call, but there's a war going on, and not everything will be plain sailing.

Knowledge was a key. It unlocked the mind, it freed the spirit. Almost no one knew about life outside the city-state, no one except for those in control. Nick had always lived a life of outcast and discrimination, but as society begins to crumble, he must do what he can to find the answers rarely asked for — and more importantly — to survive in a corrupted world turned against him.

Two decades ago Nick Wilde and his family fled Zootopia, escaping the laws and prejudice that tainted their lives. Two decades ago Nick Wilde and his family settled in a land far away, hope in their eyes and the wind in their uncollared necks. Two decades ago Nick Wilde left Zootopia, but now he's back. He's on a mission, and nothing can stand in his way. Not even a certain Bunny.

When 5-year old Judy hears her family purchased a fox kit, she had no idea what to think, or of what was to come. Follow her growth as she gets to know the newest addition to her family, and also learns the cruelties of the world she resides in. Just a warning, while there are lighter moments, this isn't a happy story overall.

John Wilde is determined to spirit the ones he loves out of Zootopia, but the darkest hour is always before the dawn.

A Zistopia AU inspired by the deleted scene "Taming Party." Prior to Meeting Judy or starting Wilde Times, Nick just wanted to be a normal kid but growing up can be tough when you're not allowed your most basic emotions.
