Connor learns what it means to be human as Hank guides him along his journey of self-discovery. Connor is far from indestructible and his impulsive nature to accomplish his mission will be the death of him, or Hank! How many ways can one android injure himself, get sick or worry his friend/father as he learns what it really means to be a deviant, free and alive?

What begins as an open-and-shut investigation of a CyberLife suicide in the late hours of the night, quickly spirals into a tangled web of murder, intrigue, espionage, and a deep dive into what it really means to be alive. Like a piece of driftwood in a hurricane, Connor, Hank, and everyone else have to learn to navigate something much bigger than themselves—or die.

Days before Christmas, Hank and Connor stumble upon an impossibility: an android that appears like a teenager, who seems mute. He won't speak, won't interface, and nobody knows who he is. Terrified of the world around him, Connor is determined to show the boy that the world doesn't have to be such a scary place. What better way than to follow his father's example?

Hank comes home to find Connor outside, looking at the stars.

The first guy looked him over uncertainly, taking in the graying head of hair and bulky coat. "Are you Gavin Reed?" Hank frowned.

Chloe, newly deviated and free from Kamiski's care, tries to find a place where she belongs. Little did she know it would be with the RK800 who almost ended her life.

An alternate outcome when Connor confronts the deviant in the kitchen, and is subsequently attacked being left for death. This time Hank finds Connor in time and has the chance to save his injured partner before he shuts down.

While looking for suspected dangerous deviant in an office building a bomb detonates and traps Connor, Hank and Gavin inside the damaged building. Injured in the blast Connor is completely defenseless, but Hank is there by his friend's side to keep him alive until help arrives.

Connor and Hank end up stranded outside the city after getting in a car accident. Hank is determined to keep an injured Connor alive after being haunted by memories of the accident that took his son. Fortunately two kind strangers who have a history of aiding deviants come to their rescue and work to save dying Connor before it's too late. (*prequel of sorts to "Accident Prone")

In a time of growing social unrest, young Narcissa Black is simply trying to avoid the embarrassment of her father's drunken behavior so she can maintain a reputable pure-blood image and marry well, just as she always dreamed. Instead, as Narcissa herself recounts, fate conspired to take her on a very different path, one which forever left her heart split in two.

Cole had told Hank on his sixth birthday that he wanted to be, "A dinosaur person," when he grew up, and he'd said it with such conviction that Hank never doubted for a split second that his boy wouldn't make that a reality. Three weeks later, he was dead. Just like the dinosaurs. Today was Cole's birthday. He would have been ten.

Following the Incident at Cyberlife Tower, Hank is having trouble trusting that his Connor is the real Connor if he is out of sight for too long. In order to reassure the Lieutenant, Connor begins engaging in what he calls "Random Acts of Deviance".

Damaged and in danger, Chloe is able to get to Connor to deliver him a message about CyberLife. Connor remembers the awful choice he was forced to make about her, reminded of what he used to be versus what he's grown into. He wants to teach her, and she finds him comforting. Meanwhile, Markus finds a peaceful resolution isn't always the end of a struggle. Rated M for adult themes
