I write slash/yaoi because I have always been told that one should write about the things they know. Therefore it is impossible for me to write a completely het fic. I also write a lot of drama and angst fics. I've tried to write PWPs, but somehow a convoluted plot always developes. With only a few very rare exceptions most of my fanfiction has PG-13 or R ratings (I do a lot of NC-17 fics as well, but I know they can't be posted on this site. I'll have to tone down the ones that I publish here.

Just as many people don't like slash, yaoi or BL fics, there are certain types of fics that I don't care for. Hence, I try to avoid reading something that I know I will not enjoy. With that in mind, people who do not like slash or yaoi do not need to read my fics. Avoiding what you find distasteful cuts down on the need to flame unnecessarily.
