Hello!

My name is Carrie! (Well- its more of a nickname technically. Well... no one actually calls me that. I’m just that lame person who gives themselves a nickname. Ha! It’s not like I’m going to put my real name up here anyway.)

I'm a teen who practically lives inside fictional worlds rather then my own.

I usually do not write Fanfiction, but I am a very avid reader! I'm not even joking when I say I spend every moment of my free time on Fanfiction.net (or watching anime) to the point where it is no longer healthy. Hopefully you find my favorited list helpful. I've only made this account recently and I'm scrambling to try and find some of my favorite fanfics that I have read in the past. I only include the very best stories I've been able to find on my favorited tab. While I have hundreds filed and downloaded I only choose the very best to share with you all! If my favorited tab gets too crowded- then I'll add a top-10 story list to my profile. I don't really want to crowd the list with 'meh' and 'okay' fics. I know how annoying it can be when someone has 6570 fics favorited and most are honestly not very good (and then you have to go through all of them just to pick out some of the few shinning gems *shudders*)

As you can probably tell I'm currently only into primarily three different fandoms. Which are Fullmetal Alchemist, Harry Potter, Yuri on Ice and Miraculous Ladybug.

Now, I know that a lot of people look down upon me for *cough* reading stories for “kid-shows” or “kitty books” and whatever. So please don’t judge my fandoms. Of course, a lot of them are for children. But they aren’t exactly “G”. Most fanfics- even more so! Ha! I love all the characters to death- so I love reading about them in more serious situations.

I go on binges, when I'm into a fandom I spend months soaking up everything I can find until I've exhausted all of my favorite sites to the point where I can't find anymore things of interest.

Because this account is so new- I don't have anything but FMA, ML, YoI, and HP Fanfictions saved so far. Sorry!

Also, I try and only include finished Fanfics on my 'favorite' tab. (But as you’ll see I’m bad at actually doing that) This is because I know how frustrating it is to find a story that is amazing in every way possible, only to find out it was abandoned 4 years ago and left on a cliffhanger. Whenever this happens it bothers me to no end and I'm unable to focus knowing I'll never get the satisfying conclusion to that story. This majorly brings down (in my opinion) the quality of the fic. I don't blame the author- life can get in the way of things and you should keep your priorities straight. So, I may not add fics because they haven't been updated in more then two years or so. Although, with every rule there are exceptions. Occasionally I will find a fic that is too absolutely inspiring to not include in my list. You may find some, but a majority of them are finshed. Some are able to be satisfying even though the fic was never officially finished, sometimes it's good to imagine your own conclusion. (It's still annoying to no end though)

A little about me...

I live with my two sisters and my parents, though I spend most of my day at my grandparents. Usually, people who find out I'm a Fanfiction geek judge me and write me off as a creep (which may or may not be true *cue wink* ). Thankfully I have at least one friend who enjoys FanFiction as much as I do.

I’ve got dark brown hair that’s just below my shoulders, hazel (I think?) eyes, and I’m of average height. I’m pretty average as they come. But, (not to sound full of myself) I’ve been told my eyes are really pretty. It’s the only feature I actually like about myself. They have some light green in them and whenever light hits them they look goldenish. Of course, no match for Ed’s and Al’s, but I still find them cool. I mostly wear jeans and some reandom tee. I wear blue glasses too! I don’t really know why my apearence is relevant...

The reason I read fanfiction is because I need an escape from my boring life as a nobody. In these stories, I have friends, talent, happiness, a purpose! I'm never going to do anything notable with my life, I know this. But at least I can pretend for a while I do? Reading in general is actually becoming a bad habit of mine- like I said. I spend every moment possible on FF.net. That means no spending time with friends or family, no going out, I’m not eating unless I have a screen/book in front of me, no doing HW outside of during school, no sleeping unless I collapse, ten minute showers and even in my classes I’m reading. I don’t really do anything but read nowadays. It’s taken over my life. It’s been like this for about 3 years I guess. Sometimes I wish I never really discovered FF.net or the joys of reading a novel. Because even though I’m having fun reading about adventures, the fun life of some teenager, having friends, or spending time with people I care about I’m never actually doing anything myself. It’s been robbing me of my life. It’s my own fault I guess.

I’m not exactly sure what I want to do with my life after I get out of school. I’ve always been a creative person. I used to do lots of drawing, painting etc. But Even though it’s something I love to do, and the only thing I might be happy with if I follow it as a career, I doubt I’ll be good another to actually make it anywhere. My parents have always had very high expectations for me, “be a lawyer or a doctor” they say. But, that really isn’t for me. Hopefully I’ll find happiness in the future.

All that aside! Reading is still my passion! We’ve kinda got a love-hate relationship, but whatever.
