Hiccup is the failure and disappointment of Berk. He is disliked among the villagers and even his Father has doubt in his ability for Chief-Rank. After having an outburst of anger against the entire village, Hiccup runs off into the forest to find the downed Night Fury, A.K.A Toothless and kill them. After doing so, Hiccup is punished and is turned into the Night Fury himself.
