'Lo there!

Th'name's Sabre, and I've been merrily [most of the time] trucking along in the world of fiction, both original and fan-based, for quite some time. Thanks to college, my writing and reading 'for fun' time has largely been replaced by schoolwork and studying. But I've managed to scrounge up some time lately and thought I would come back to Fanfiction.net with my newfound time and energy!

My current love is Dragon Age. I haven't read much fanfiction, really, I prefer to write my own rather than worry about how someone else's work has influenced my mental fantasies. But I have been sitting on one particular idea for quite some time, so expect to see a few chapters, at least, of it soon as it's coming along quite nicely [I think]. With Dragon Age II coming out just in time for my Spring Break, I'll probably disappear for a bit, but never fear! I think I shall always have Dragon Age fanfiction rolling about in the ol' brain box.

I am especially excited [when I'm not feeling outraged at the same issue] because I love Anders. SPOILER ALERT...ish. I love Anders and Nathaniel from Awakening almost, if not more, than I do Alistair from Origins. But I absolutely cannot understand what possessed Bioware to tamper with the loveably snarktastic mage as they've done. *sigh* It's disheartening because I can think of so many possible horrid realities for Hawke + Anders. It's awful. :(

PS: For anyone who'd like to check out my Marauders fanfic, I'd encourage you to do so, but I'd also like to apologize for the lack of updates. I've been working on it, but between college and my natural disliking of Snape, I've hit quite a few snags along the way and I really sort of feel as though I'd be better served taking the whole thing down and editing it...so I'm back-burnering it for now. Oo;
