Regina Mills is a decorated detective in the Boston Police Department, known for being outstanding at her job but outstandingly difficult to work with. Regina takes pity on the Sheriff when she finds her out in the storm; inviting her inside to escape its wrath. What starts as an aggressive game of sexual one-upmanship slowly evolves into something a little deeper; perhaps even a liking for one another...

Based loosely off the concept from What Happens In Vegas. Always competing, Emma and Regina find themselves getting just a bit carried away one night. In the morning both are shocked to find their situation has changed and in a town with magic, not everything is so easily fixed. The two suddenly have to find some way to get along before one does't make it out alive.

Vampires and werewolves own the night, feeding off humans without recourse. As a Hunter, Emma Swan is dedicated to their destruction for her own reasons. But after the son she thought dead appears at her door sprouting fangs and walking in daylight, everything she thought she knew is thrown asunder. Especially in Storybrooke, Maine, governed by a mayor who is more than she seems.

This is the sequel to The Debt. Read that story first or this will make little sense. Emma prepares to head home to Storybrooke filled with questions, anger and pain about Regina's actions, as she figures out what to do next. Swan Queen again ... eventually.
