When I was born my parents said that it was such a joy to have a girl after 2 boys so they gave me the name Lydia Joy. :-) As I grew older and dedicated my life to Christ I decided I not only wanted to be my parents Joy but I wanted to be God's Joy. That is why I call myself HisJoy! I am a college student going into my Senior year in the Education department; I want to be an Elementary School Teacher. I'm also working on a minor in Cross-Cultural and Urban Studies. I believe God is calling me to be a Missionary Teacher! Someday, after I recieve my bachelors degree in Education, I would like to go on to Seminary school to earn a masters in Divinity.
