About me:

My name is Clara, and I live in Denmark (up north in Scandinavia in Europe - a tiny country).

I don't like school in general as a lot of people can probably say. But English, History and Social Studies are among the tolerable parts of it.

I do, obviously, like writing, and hope to be a writer when I grow up. I've been writing since I was eleven and have three novels behind me. I can't imagine any other carreer which could make me happy - which is probably not a good thing... In writing my favorite part is getting deep into the psychological aspects of the characters and making them believable.

I love movies, especially historical ones - the movie "Amadeus" about the life of the composer Wolfgang Amdeus Mozart (who has also made my favorite music!) is my all-time favorite. As you could probably tell, I love classical music. I also like some anime, but not anime in particular - I just like what's good. And the Japanese language gives me bad headaches, so I only watch dubs - sorry? My favorite anime is "Death Note".

I also love reading, my favorite book being a Danish historical novel taking place during the German occupation of Denmark during World War Two. It's called "Lulu". I love the writing style in it - a simple style characterized by short, broken sentences. It's quite lyrical (almost like poetry) and dreamy. It has an amazing flow to it, and I have modelled my own writing style a bit after that novel.

I am very interested in history, especially the 18th and 19th centuries and World War Two along with the history of fashion.

And lastly, my username "Solkongen" is Danish meaning "The King of the Sun" - yes, it is quite masculin, but I always pick this username. I don't know why. Maybe because the 17th and 18th century French king Louis XIV was nicknamed it.
