Hello. I'm Darc Shadow. I write far more than I should, but post very little of it. I'm OCD when concerned with grammer, spelling, and proper English. (Texting or email lingo doesn't count, I'm afraid.)

I read and have read many many books, and am always surprised when a very beloved book turns out to be poorly written. Reading is the best way to be a better writer. Some of my favorites include the Ranger's Apprentice Series by John Flanagan (although he does have a rather horrible research error, I still find his books frightfully good), Escape from Exile by Robert Levy, We Few by David Weber and Ringo...I can't remember his first name, I'm afraid.

I love science fiction and fantasy, but I can sometimes be found with a good Romance (i. e. not a bodice ripper).
