![]() Author has written 5 stories for Lord of the Rings, Tomb Raider, Braveheart, Misc. Movies, and Dracula. A little about me: Like: acting and singing, Broadway, musicals, piano, reading, playing soccer (champion team!),the 20's and 40's era, some older rock music, Broadway music, Celtic music, Celtic jewelry, Celtic anything...I'd like to learn Gaelic :D Love: I absolutely ADORE accents from Britain and Ireland, and wish I had one. I live in Canada, although I wish I were a resident somewhere on the British Isles. Also love Arthurian tales and (believe it or not) some Shakespeare. (Erm, yes, I kid you not). Loathe: math, and arrogant people who seem to think that they're God's gift to humanity. Actors/Actresses: Gerard Butler, Jason Isaacs, Johnny Depp, Sean Bean, Mel Gibson, Viggo Mortensen...well, the entire LOTR cast, Hayden Christensen, Heath Ledger, Meagen Follows, Saffron Burrows, PatrickWilson, Simon Callow, Ciaran Hinds, Nicole Kidman, Miranda Otto, Billy Boyd, Ewan McGregor...and an extra in Braveheart, in the "The Legend Spreads" sequence - the old Scot who says, "William Wallace killed fifty men. Fifty, if it was one." No joke - that guy almost steals the movie. Authors: Bernard Cornwell, Marion Zimmer Bradely, Juliet Mariller, C.S. Lewis, Leon Uris, JRR Tolkein, Sharon Stewart, O.R. Melling and a dozen others that I can't recall at the moment.Oh, and of course, JK Rowling. Random thought: I do beleive I was born in the wrong time...say, 500 years late. Movies: Phantom of the Opera, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Pirates of the Caribbean, Disney (smiles), Finding Neverland (more smiles), Peter Pan, really anything that is unrealisitc. And old black and white movies! The true classics :) Music: soundtracks! Broadway, and Celtic music (see above). Love Josh Groban and Sarah Brightman's voices...almost anything composed by Andrew Lloyd Webber, John Williams, Hans Zimmer and Gerry Goldsmith (Anne of Green Gables score). Plus some old rock, some punk, some of everything except rap and dance...and techno (shudders) Just to warn you - I'm a terrible procrastinator, so please forgive me in advance! Currently: Thinking of exploring the fantasy genre a bit. A Peter Pan fics perhasps... Fixation: Phantom of the Opera! And really, how could anyone not love that show? I recently saw it in Toronto, the Phantom being played by John Cudia. Absolutely brilliant, to hear him live was unbelievable. And Gerard Butler as the Phantom in the movie...swoons. He brings across the perfect blend of love, tenderness, and dark obsession. Not to mention the ability to drop a girl with a mere half opened shirt….and that voice…so, add all that to his charming disposition and delicious Scottish accent, and, well, you can understand why I’m captivated. So…how about reading the below? Please? And thank you:) Positive reviews are immensely appreciated, as is constructive criticism. Please feel free to give suggestions (meaning, what would you like to see happen in a particular story or with a certain character?) I am always open to new ideas, and will try my best to incorporate some of your ideas into my stories! Cheers! |
