I have a really dorky sense of humor as you will see, and I am not a great writer... so I apologize for any grammatical errors beforehand, but it shouldn't be too unbearable.
Anyway, my name is Risa... recently changed my pen name from Karaoke Risa to Pieces of Reese, then back to Karaoke Risa, in case there was any confusion. Too late. Lol.

I'm 30. I have what some might consider an unhealthy addiction to fanfiction.

I'm a sucker for FF7 and FF8 fics, as well as Resident Evil, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, and a whole boatload of other stuff. I've been working on an FF8 fic since 2005 (still going, though!) but I've got several other ideas perpetually in the works.

Time Apart sucks. I'll admit it. Some parts are better than I remember, though, upon reading it again after like five years.

Wrong Way... well, I started writing it the month after my dad died several years ago, and it became something of a coping mechanism. Over time, though, it became an independent entity to me, and while it's taken me a very long time to get what little of it I've written done... it's sorta my baby. Heh.

August 2012 - I've submitted a piece for the August 2012 challenge Where I Belong. It's a little rushed and it shows, but I hope you can find it enjoyable none the less. It was an honor to be a part of it. More WW to come!

March 29, 2012 - Finally got the balls (figuratively) to write a Mass Effect fic. The idea hit me quite suddenly, so I just let my fingers go. After three games, I think I'm inspired to finally write out the love that I put into my Shepard. Possible (even likely) continuations in a one-shot series.

January 22, 2011 - So, how about that? ANOTHER two years since my last update, more or less. So yeah, guess I'm still staying true to my word, yeah? Going to finish Wrong Way no matter what, even though it's been six years in the making at this point, and there are only 11 chapters. I'm really not sure how long I intend it to go, but I know I don't intend to cheat the story of important development for the sake of getting it completed. Who knows? Maybe it won't really take that many more.
