LOOKY HERE (If I even have any readers left, lol) 4-22-12

Okay, so as you've probably noticed Hidden (or as I like to call it, Hermione and Severus On a Messed Up Holiday) has kind of been left on the writing desk. I do plan to finish it, so I have not abandoned it. Just give me time and chapters should start flowing out soon. Also, hope you had a wonderful April Freorge Day!

I guess I should tell a little about myself, even though I doubt anyone would find it interesting.

I'm starting college soon and will be taking art. I used to draw and paint, but stopped because of problems (family and otherwise), but listening to My Chemical Romance and being inspired by Gerard made me want to pursue art again. You can probably tell that I am a fan of the group also.

I like other music, obviously, mostly alternative and such. AFI, Taking Back Sunday, Thursday, FOB, Korn, and such. The list could go on and on. My online friends keep calling me emo, but I don't really know what that is. I mean, I believe it stands for emotional, but anything beyond that, I have no idea.

I was born in Chicago and lived there until I was about five months old, then we moved to California. I wished I lived in a more trendy part, but I don't. I live in a cultural wasteland. So, if it wasn't for the net, I'd starve.

I'm not into normal fashion. In fact, I love fashion, but wish more clothing would be made in black, white, and gray. I don't wear dresses if I can avoid it. I know how to be proper, but I prefer not to be. Being rude, obnoxious, and sarcastic is way more fun. I love jokes and love that Brit humor. I don't think many people my age like Monty Python or Cabaret or D&D. So, I guess I'm not the most normal person around.

I'm a quiet person, mainly because I don't like to waste words and also because I feel you learn more when you just observe the world around you and have an open mind. I started liking Harry Potter soon after the second book was released. I saw it on a book shelf and thought, that looks fun. I'm like Hermione, I usually read history and school books, but I do pleasure read and Harry Potter is one of the series that keeps me entertained. I want to be a writer and illustrator for children's books. Horror and fantasy. And adult novels about angst and romance.

I listen to music often while I write, so some of my stories may seem like songfics, even when they are not. I will always try and spell check and reread my writing once I finish because I can't stand when people misspell half the words in a story or there are words missing or whatever. I usually won't take more than a week to update a story, but if it takes longer, it's probably something serious that kept me from updating. Or I'm probably just procrastinating.
