You just had to go and break your promise? And a very important one at that. It was all that you lived for, that one promise. You didn’t have the power to prevent Amy’s death and now you can’t even keep a promise that you vowed you would never break. A weakling, typical, stupid, careless and blunt person you are. You have no heart and you have no feelings and now you have lost all hope and now, right before your eyes you see your dreams being shattered to the floor. What more could you lose? You know how much you would have loved to drive that knife into your heart, instead of just searing it up your arm. Or were you just being the coward you really are. You know if you wanted to see Amy again that’s all you would have to do, just stick that knife in you’re chest, or get someone else to do it for you. So what are you going to do now? Start all over? Are you going to pretend you never broke your promise and try hard not to start bawling like a baby all over again? Well, guess what, it’s to late, once you break a promise you can’t break it again, it’s already broken, it’s something you can’t mend. And very soon something your hanging onto like the edge of a cold knife is going to be torn apart as well, unfixable. That’s right, I’m talking about your very soul. Why don’t you just run and pretend this never happened? That’s what you want isn’t it to fly away from your problems. But no, you can’t do that just yet. You can’t fly with broken wings can you? Of course not. I’ll give you this much, you’re a rock, a stonewall, or you were…Nothing never frightened you or moved you. You were a strong-minded person. Until you had to let those eyes of yours cry a river. But maybe you can repair yourself and your fort. Take it one brick at a time. One step at a time and maybe you can get back into that life that you but not others would call normal. But nothing can change what just happed several hours ago. Besides, how could anyone not cry, being in your shoes? Now I’m not being sympathetic. But I’m must say I am impressed you pulled it off this far. Now lets just see how far you can stretch out your life? You think you can endure what awaits you? What just happened several hours ago is nothing compared to the things that come next. Here’s a piece of advice for you: Don’t ever get close to someone again; it’s best to just be alone.
