![]() I've been writing fanfiction since roughly 2005 and reading fanfiction a few years prior to that. Though I do have a tendency to write a variety of universes in my stories, my favorites to write would have to be (in no particular order): Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Elder Scrolls, Supernatural, Avatar (The Last Airbender and Legend of Korra) and Star Wars. It's a rare thing for me to stick with strictly canon characters, as I have a tendency toward creating my own. I also have no particular pairings that I like - it all depends on where I want the story to go. Some may have no romance whatsoever. For example, my character in Star Wars goes by the name of Celevon Edraven Erinos and I've been developing him since 2010. Though none of the fictions I've written have been published on a fanfiction site, I've developed him through the use of an Online Star Wars fan club called the Dark Jedi Brotherhood. Over the years that I've been involved with it (ironically, I was recruited to the club from a different writing forum for fanfiction and still know very little about that particular universe), the club has evolved and improved by leaps and bounds. Essentially, it builds a complex role-playing world through the efforts of a vast community, each individual adding to the overarching story whilst working alongside the universe created by George Lucas - we try to avoid our characters having any interaction with those featured in the films. The club itself offers activities in a variety of categories, such as fiction, gaming, combat writing and graphics to further the experience of the membership using a Fate-inspired Character Sheet System. In it, you can create a Force Sensitive or Non-Force Sensitive (Mundane) character that walks the Light, Gray or Dark Path (If anyone is interested in joining, feel free to contact me via PM.) Once I've written more complete fictions, I will be featuring this character participating in events that take place within and outside of the club here. Since I've been reading fanfictions on this site for years, I may or may not borrow ideas I've seen in other stories. If you read one of my works and see something you contributed, feel free to contact me and let me know so that I can point out where some of the concepts I use have come from. There tends to be a lot of graphic violence and swearing in my fictions, so very few will be rated below Mature. |
