About me: I go to med school, which takes up 99 percent of my time. Other than that, I'm a huge literature nerd and can be found quoting obscure volumes of classics. I play the piano, have earned money out of drawing and 2D computer animation in the past, directed my own play and used to be able to cartwheel. I write original stuff too, but fanfiction is my favorite way of butchering the english language. And English is not even my first language (there's no way you'd guess what my first language is. Ha!) People sometimes say I have a little boy's brain inside me because I play video games and cuss -- that's not an issue though, I never tried to be particularly ladylike. I'm not a conceited person, but occasionally end up as one inadvertently. I've tried to blog several times, unsuccessfully (my latest attempt is here, though it's more like a journal).

Favorite book: oh...so many. Some sci-fi fantasy, mainly Phillip Pullman's His Dark Materials, anything by Ursula LeGuin and Robert Heinlein, the good old antiutopia classics (Fahrenheit 451, Brave New World, 1984), Steinbeck

Favorite music: again so many. sneaks a peak at facebook profile I'd say my fave is Travis at the moment, the rest are obscure mopey indie rock and oldies like Valli and the Beatles...other than that, I'm megalomaniac enough to appreciate crap I compose on my piano.

Favorite movie: Fisher King, Amadeus, Awakenings. (I used to have a childhood crush on Robin Williams)

Favorite drink: bloody mary. Arr!

My brand new fandom is Avatar. If you're not hooked on it yet, now is the right time! Like Harry Potter, I don't like writing on the central characters but the less major ones. For me, the Zuko/Katara ship is just like Hermione/Draco is in Harry Potter -- it's possible, there are some excellent stories, but EVERYONE is writing Zutara, so you won't see me doing it. Not in the near future. My current obsession is Iroh, and the rest of the royal family of the Fire Nation. I'm really into Ozai/Ursa because we barely know anything about Zuko's mom, and our sociopath Firelord gets no love from the fandom. You might see Zhao in my stories too, 'cause he's a prat, and every story needs one. I'm also kind of obsessed with Pai Sho (I know the rules and everything), so there you are. Harmony is my current brainchild, an Iroh/Ozai/Ursa fic (not in the sense of a threesome. They're the main characters, if that's going to take your mind off the gutter). Read it and make me happy.

Fullmetal Alchemist was one of those animes you sat up three days straight to watch without stopping. It was like Star Wars all over again for me -- had that much fun. I'm sorry for not finishing my fic I, Edward. A wad of raw chapters has been lying around in my hard disk for eons, but I have absolutely no time to go through it.

I used to have a couple of Harry Potter and Shaman King fics on this FFN account too...but you know how old writing is to the writer. It made me kind of cringe, so I took it off.
