Author has written 1 story for Doctor Who.

I live in the Foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. I am surrounded by adventure, wonderful friends, and great things like my mutt-dog Maya. I backpack, hike, and boulder in the summer, and ice-climb, gym climb and snowboard in the winter. I work too much and am paid too little, and still insist on buying healthy "whole" foods and frequently shop the farmer's market. I try to support local business and have a love/hate relationship with running.

The fandom I write in is the longest fandom I've ever been a part of, aside from Star Wars which is a part of my earliest childhood memory. I started watching Doctor Who purely by accident. When I was in kindergarten my parents had promised to record the ball drop in Times Square so my brother and I could see it the next day as we were not allowed to stay up that late. What they instead recorded was the second part of the first episode where the Doctor and Leela meet. The next week we recorded the "Horror of Fang Rock," and I still remember hiding under the coffee table and watching that episode. For years my dreams were haunted by Rutans, Stonehenge rocks coming to life and draining the blood from me, and Daleks. I had a doll named Sarah Jane, and was pleased that we shared the same last name, and I wanted to be just like Ace all the time. :)

The Doctor is a best friend and a bearer of adventure and wonder to me, never someone to bring romance. So you can imagine how the whole Rose and Doctor thing confused me, not to mention 8 kissing his companion. I feel endlessly sad for the Doctor now being homeless and alone.

My stories are based off of dreams. The characters are based off people I know. Alice is my mother combined with stories of my Great Grammie and a little bit of my older cousin. All strong, loving and matter-of-fact women. Becca is my best friend Ann, someone I've known most all my life but I'm feeling a loss of connection with. She's so well known and yet there's always some secret just below the surface.

I hope you will enjoy my musings, I have so enjoyed writing them.

Peace, Love, and Adventure to you!

The Man in the Long Black Coat by AKs-on-show reviews
The Doctor and Sophie have survived the Protocol, the Daleks and the Trickster's Brigade. They've visited the towers of New Tokyo and Tuscany in the seventeenth century. But the Doctor has been keeping a secret from Sophie: history records that she died as a five year old in 1996, long before she met the Doctor in 2011. How will the truth come out, and what will it mean for Sophie?
