Hello. I am Onyx, and I live in the middle of nowhere and down the road from a lake with a proper beach. I intend to make much use of it this summer, just as soon as I can find a bathing suit that actually fits. I have issues given that my shoulders are one size, my torso is another, my waist is another, and my hips and legs are another still. The stores around here don't carry that many tankinis. I'm not going to complain too much, though, since I actually look pretty good in jeans and a t-shirt.

I live with my mom in a decent-sized house that's just about the right distance from our neighbors, and pay my rent by doing the pain-in-the-butt chores and making sure the dog doesn't eat anything he shouldn't. :) I have an X-Box stashed in my brother's old room and can spend hours playing Fable games, Minecraft, and anything Spider-Man or Batman. Most days I don't bother, though. I just don't like playing videogames as much as writing, watching movies, or reading books. That's probably why I'm still horrible at them. That, and the games my brother bought/borrowed just don't do much for me. I don't like war games or post-apocalyptic stuff. Not my cup of tea.

I am a tomboy nerd who happens to like some girly stuff. I am an American-style "otaku" geek. I like conventions and toys and DVDs, but my room is not filled with them. I spend maybe four hours of my day on movies and whatever, and it's not every day. (Translation: I'm an "otaku" the way American fans use the word, not the way Japanese people use the word. In other words, I collect crap, but I do not fap to Gundam clips.)

I write when I want and update when I want. Bugging me just makes me want to go do something else. Don't expect anything about me to be regular or normal. And I'm not going to post anything I've already written. I need something to start over on, and I've changed too much and not enough to go back to any of that stuff right now. Cool? Cool.
