Hi! I'd just like to say that I'm a guy... Yeah. I don't really know what to say in these things :|. Well, I can't really say that I love reading. I kinda used to read a lot when I was smaller but then school and other stuff caught up with me so I don't read as much anymore.

I'm a big fan of the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series but I actually only started reading it this year, a month ago. It's a long story, but while my family and I were at a restaurant, my sister was reading The Kane Chronicles and I was really bored so I picked it up while she was in the bathroom. I liked it, and the rest of the time we were out I read the book until my sister took it back from me because she was getting bored. She told me to read The Lightning Thief because she said it was from the same author and I'd probably like it (and she wanted someone to talk to about the series), so the next day I picked it up. The thing is, I only reached until after the minotaur part until my short attention span kicked in and I put the book back on the shelf for the next two months. Ok. I'll just say that since I watched the movie a few... um... months earlier, I got the (really dumb) idea that the book would pretty much be the same as it, and actually the first few chapters were pretty similar so I got impatient. Yeah, I know, I'm stupid. Anyway, I only read the book again because I seriously had nothing to do one day, and this time I got farther than the previous time I tried reading it. I noticed a lot of MAJOR differences in the story (from the movie), and I just said to myself, "Hell, I'll just finish this already." Then, the characters and plot started growing on me and everything. I finished the whole series that week (I don't read that slow, I have school and stuff!) and after that, I felt empty. Imagine, I was reading something non-stop for a whole week and it got cruelly separated from me (why did it have to end???), so naturally I felt bad. That's why I went to FF.net.

I actually knew about this place for a while already (from my sister) but didn't go too much because as I said earlier, I don't read all too much. But in this case, I was pretty desperate to read something else from PJO, so I went here. I read some good ones, some really good ones, some normal ones and some WTF?!?! ones, but mostly in the normal to WTF?!?! range. And so a crazy idea popped in my head. Why don't I try writing too? I told myself I'd give it a shot, although I still haven't written anything yet. I consider myself a pretty good writer (...sorry if I sound like I'm boasting) in the grammar department, but I can't write a decent plot for the life of me (mostly because I'm super unoriginal or have absolutely no ideas). Oh well. [Sorry about the life story!]

Books - Percy Jackson, some other stuff but mainly this

Music - THE WHO!!! My favorite band ever (and also my picture here). Some of you guys may think they're really old, and yes, they are, but I'll tell you know that their live performances (esp. from back then) are the best EVER (check YouTube for proof). I also like other classic rock like Led Zep, etc. I was brought up this way by my dad; being 'old,' his music taste is like this, and I took off from him. About modern music, well, I don't really like it so much, but I do have some guilty pleasures here and there ;)

TV Shows - I don't really consciously watch TV that much but I watch whatever my family watches.

Sports - Basketball, I like watching the NBA
