Author has written 49 stories for Stargate: SG-1, X-Files, Beauty and the Beast, Mamma Mia!, Scarecrow and Mrs. King, and Bones. Note: FFN has apparently stripped all non-alphanumeric page separators and whitespace from stories hosted here. This has had the unfortunate effect of turning a several of my stories into unreadable mush. I've not yet decided whether or not to go back and try to repair the resulting mess, but most of my work (including a number of stories that I've never gotten around to archiving here) is also available through my website, which is listed in my profile and at the Archive of Our Own under my Ayiana username. I apologize for any confusion. If you're looking for a specific story and can't find a readable version of it, please email me and I'll be happy to send you a file copy. The first fandom I ever wrote for was JAG. Since then I've written Stargate SG-1, X-Files, Beauty and the Beast (the TV show, not the musical or the Disney movie or any of probably thousands of other versions), Mamma Mia! (the movie), and Scarecrow and Mrs. King. My JAG stories are here under a different penname. If you're interested in them, just let me know. I appreciate honest reviews since they help my writing, but I never beg for them. If my work is worthy of feedback, it'll stand on its own merit. I'm a traditionalist (some might call me a stick in the mud). I ship Harm and Mac for JAG, Sam and Jack on SG-1, Mulder and Scully on X-Files and, of course, Vincent and Catherine on Beauty and the Beast. I'm big on canon, so I try not to write anything too outlandish. My emphasis, always, is on characterization. Spelling, grammar, and general mechanical errors should be few and far between in my stories. I'm a firm believer in the beta reading process, so if you see a problem, please let me know and I'll go beat my beta readers with a wet noodle. (Not really, but still... you'd think that between a perfectionist author and a collection of meticulous beta readers, there wouldn't be much that would slip by) And last but not least... I never post a story that I haven't finished writing. In my opinion, there's nothing worse than an author who starts posting with no clear idea of where he or she is going. Too often this results in a tale that wanders all over the map without ever actually getting anywhere, and sometimes it ends in a frustrated audience, because the author loses interest and disappears in a poof of smoke. Beyond that, sit back, read, and (I hope) enjoy. |
