Past Fan Fic Pen Names:

I used to write for Fan Fic under the Pen Name PastelSiren, and then Whisperer in the Wind, and now of course, in a new season in my life, I have become Capella85.

I started writing for Fan Fic when I was in high school. Every couple of years or so, I get a little obsessed with some new movie, and I come back. It's been a while, but after reading Twilight, I couldn't resist. It's hard though. Stephenie's already made it so amazing, it feels weird to change anything. So, as long as Edward and Bella officially end up together in a fic, then I can read it. I can't handle stories that switch pairings, and I can't handle stories where Edward dies. It feels wrong. I love comedies. Those are my favorites. I love writing comedies, adventures, and romance, and will usually try to incorporate all three in a story.

I love Jesus more than anything!

I enjoy reading, writing, movies, traveling and the beach. And reading on the beach.

Spontanious adventures are my favorite.

I love the smell of sawdust, and the reason is the biggest secret of my life, one that not a single person in the whole world knows the answer to.

And old man once asked me if I had a secret. When I asked why, he replied, "because you smile like you've got a secret." It was the greatest compliment I've ever gotten, and I haven't forgotten it to this day.

I like to do hair. I've done proms, other dances, birthdays, and one wedding so far, (all bridesmaids and bride). I name each of my hair styles.

I'm not an angsty person. I have a lot of joy. I choose not to worry or stress about life, but rather enjoy it. You only get one, and then it's eternity in one direction or the other, depending on what you've chosen.

I love counciling people. I want women to feel beautiful, and I want men to feel strong and heroic. It's the way God designed us. Insecurities are so lame.

My biggest pet peeves are slow drivers, people who use a whole roll of toilet paper and don't put a new one on the thing, people who complain all the time, about everything, and people who read stories, put them on their favorite list, and don't review. I think that's kind of lame. Other than that, I don't really get annoyed very easily, and it takes a whole lot to make me mad. Honestly, I'm definately one of those "let the world roll off your shoulders" people. You only get one chance to live this life, and I don't have time to waste being bitter or offended. Forgiveness is brilliant. :)

Recently though, I did find my mean button. I went on a road trip to see Hillsong in concert, and I was 1 of 2 drivers. In a 70 hour period, I got 7 hours of sleep, and not at the same time. People saw a side of me they didn't think existed. Shoot, I didn't think it existed. So yes, Sleep Deprivation: I call it, my Mean Button. ;)

I love PM's. I don't care if you want to write me. Go for it. I've developed friendships with some of my reviewers through PM's. It's fun.

I respond to all of my reviews, and if you write more than, "Good job," my reply will be more personal. Also, when I really, really like a review, I tend to give spoilers in my replies... just saying...

What I'm known for in the Fan Fic World:

1. Cliff hangers that will make you scream 7 pitches of shriek, destroy your computer, and then think, "Shoot, now how will I find out what happens next?"

2. M-Y-S-T-E-R-Y- I'll give you lots of questions, answer 1, and then give you another, but don't worry, it makes the story line more fun.

3. Doing what you don't expect.

4. Making you love characters you never loved before, a.k.a; Mike Newton, Rosalie Hale, and then making you fall in love with characters as much as you love Edward Cullen, a.k.a; Jasper Hale. ;)

5. No cheese! (Okay, maybe a little, in between the no cheese.) I like stories that are developed. My characters will not fall in love after the first chapter. Nothing will be perfect. Lives will go from bad to worse before they ever get better. Not everybody gets what they want.

6. Torturing my characters.

7. Sometimes I'll make you laugh, but I've been known to make a few people cry, so... beware. ;)

Twenty Four Hours: Complete

Edward meets a vampire whose gift gives him an opportunity he'd never imagined possible, of course, nothing turns out to be as easy as he'd hoped. All of the sudden, he finds himself as Mike Newton's brother, Jessica Stanley's boyfriend, and some stupid drug dealer with a vendetta against him kidnaps Bella and a powerless Edward literally puts his life on the line to save her.

She looked back to the door, and I had to as well to distract me from doing something stupid, and Melvin caught my surprise. He was staring straight at us, as if he knew there was something there that didn’t belong, but couldn’t quite see it yet. He took a step closer. Bella squeezed her eyes and buried her head in my chest, obviously worried, and I silently thanked God that I had asked for Pop Tarts.

She stood before him like something out of a fairytale, something other than what she already was. She towered above him, and the golden curls that cascaded all around her face and shoulders added to her height, and presence. Even with the sun that sent glittering diamonds bouncing off her skin, he wasn’t sure she wasn’t Glenda the Good Witch from Wizard of Oz. He pictured her in a big, poofy blue fairy dress, a tiara on her head and a wand in her hand. And just to top it off she asked him, “Would you like to make a wish?”

“On three?” I asked. She nodded. “One… Two… Three…” And we both bit into our blueberry pop tarts and started chewing. It was just as disgusting as I’d thought it would be. How could anyone eat this after trying bacon? It was bland, and the texture was strange, and it didn’t satisfy. It was wonderful.

Those three words sent my pounding heart soaring faster than the speed of light and I was surprised it didn’t truly explode through my chest. It was strange. In my world, Bella had spoken these words to me, and yeah, though it did normally thrill me every time, there really was no reason to have reacted the way I did, but there was something about having Bella love me in a world that really wasn’t mine, that made it officially feel like we really did belong together, no matter where we were. And there was something else. I’d fought so hard today, fought to show her I loved her, fought to save her life, it was almost as if I was fighting for those three little words, and having received them after fighting so hard, there was a new value in them.

He didn’t take his eyes off his task, but continued talking to me. “So, how did Bella take it when you explained everything? Did she believe you?”

“Of course she believed me.”

“Yeah well, that girl would believe you if you swore to her the planets actually revolved around the earth, and the moon really was made of cheese.”

That wasn’t what bugged her the most.” I paused for a moment staring up at the ceiling. “She’s mad at me.”

“Mad at you? For what?” He actually took a pause to look at me this time, his face bewildered. The thought of Bella mad at me was usually more unbelievable to my family then the story I’d just shared with them.

“She says she can’t shake the feeling I cheated on her.”

His eyes grew wide. “You? Is she kidding? With who? Jessica? You told her how you went into shock, and dumped her as soon as you came to right?”

“Not with Jessica.”

“Then who?”

I raised an eye brow, and it only took a moment for him to comprehend.

“With herself? What?! That’s ridiculous.”

“I know.”

“It was her.”

“I know.”

“But, that’s stupid. You went there for Bella. You kissed Bella. She’s Bella!”

“I know.”

“Then, what?” Suddenly, I was beyond frustration, and it took all my self-control to keep my wild and crazy tone down so as not to wake up Charlie. “Bella! If you don’t explain to me what’s going on in that radio silent head of yours, I swear I am going to explode into pieces right here, and you’re going to have to put me back together.”

I opened the freezer to get some ice, and I couldn’t shut it. I was just standing there, letting the cold air brush against my face. I was imagining it was you, and finally Charlie came in and yelled at me for letting all the cold out.

“He probably just went to see Bella.”

“No, it’s not visiting hours for her yet. Besides, he promised to come home and help me redecorate the living room first.”

Rosalie snickered. “Sucker,” she whispered under her breath. “He’s fine Esme.”

“Sure thing.” Rosalie flipped the channel to Animal Planet. Two mountain lions were fighting furiously over a dead deer carcass. “Awck… I’m hungry. Esme, I’m going hunting. If I see Edward, I’ll send him home.”

“I want you Edward. I love you. I love all of you, everything about you, everything you are, and everything you do. I want you always. There isn’t a world in all the universe that I wouldn’t want you.

“So you just stop whatever internal dispute is going on inside that thick skull of yours and accept the fact that you want me too, and that you would survive without me just about as well as I would survive without you.”

She stopped her little rant then, and I stared wide eyed at her.

“Yeah, yeah, we all know you’re a lovely morning person. Now please get up and get dressed before I throw you in the water barrel outside.”

He reached out a hand to me. “You want to dance?” I asked, trying to add a bit of sting to my joke.

“My boot,” he huffed at me.

I threw it at him, trying to aim for his head, but as was established already, I was not a morning person. He caught the boot easily and threw it on his foot.

“Rose and Jasper will be here today,” he informed me, beaming.

“Jazz is coming?” I asked excited, consciousness starting to seep in as I slowly rolled out of bed. I stood up and stretched my sore muscles.

He laughed at me. “Yes, the love of your life will be here to grace us with his presence just after breakfast, so I suggest you put on your Sunday best princess.”

I picked up a pillow and threw it at him, my aim improving, but not enough. He caught it and threw it at me with more force than I’d expected, and as it collided with my face, I fell back onto the bed. He laughed and ran out of the room before I could retaliate.

I really, was not a morning person.

And then he did something I’d never once believed I’d ever see Jasper do.

He cried.

He cried so hard and so violently I had to wrap my arms around him to hold him up. He grabbed my sleeves and sobbed into my shoulder. “I hate him!” he cried. “I hate him!”

My heart broke at his torment. Every sob sent another jolt of pain through my body. He was my best friend, and I had no idea how to heal him.

“I can’t love her,” he admitted, his voice dripping with so much anguish I had to focus a minute to understand who he meant.

He pushed me back and met me face to face. “I want to,” he said. “With everything inside of me I want to love her the way she deserves, but I can’t. I won’t let it claim me,” he repeated once more as his eyes widened in fear and determination.

We were about to depart to the dance floor, when Jasper appeared into our sight. He was marching quickly and sharply toward us and had a look of such determination on his face, I froze right where I was standing. Alice perked up when she saw him, and looked expectantly and fearfully at him.

He went around to Alice’s side of the table and stopped just in front of her. She looked up at him, intimidated by the fierceness in his expression. Then in a voice, rough and demanding, he said, “Dance with me Alice.”

It was obvious he wasn’t going to take no for an answer, but it was also plain my sister wasn’t going to object.

What happened next is really almost unexplainable, and yet completely common among men, although this type of contest between my best friend and my king is just a strange phenomena that topped any unnatural experience anyone has ever known, ever, in the world, however far it goes. Someone, though I don’t know exactly from who since my head was still buried, but someone definitely passed gas.

“Oh I’m sorry Edmund, it’s just such an insignificant name I find it hard to remember correctly.”

“Bella never forgot it.”

If you couldn’t see the gates of hell opening and the lake of fire about to pour out at that moment, then you were too daft to be considered anything other than the village idiot, and Edward had to have been king of them all if he thought that comment would go unnoticed.

You could have read the unmitigated agitation on Edward’s face from the other side of the city, but he didn’t say a word. Just held his proud nose in the air, and scaled the horse like a wall, which didn’t work out too well for him. He misjudged the height, did some sort of strange roll across the saddle and then kept going until he crashed into a heap on the ground on the other side of the horse. I was reminded of the phrase, “Pride cometh before a fall,” but I didn’t think it would be a good idea to say anything. So I bit my lip and hoped the kings snickers would drown out the sound of mine.

“You seem confident that you know what is right and what is wrong. I’ve spent my whole life trying to balance the right thing against what I want, but the mind and the heart are rarely in unity. I find myself often calling my heart a traitor. It always wants what my mind knows is wrong, and it kills me inside a little more each day. Every second I spent away from Edward was torture, but being in the capital, being Weidinhun’s queen, working toward making a difference, as much as it hurt, it always felt like that was right. Like that was where I was supposed to be.”

I could feel my heart start to turn. I knew the outcome of this story before he even told me. I was after all, a princess, and in our world, true love didn’t exist, and if it somehow crept its’ way in, it was doomed before it began.”
