Author has written 1 story for Supernatural. Howdy and How do you do and everything in between! It was many and many a- well not that long ago, in a house by a mountain in all green, that a lady there lived whom you don't know, by the name of Poet, that's me. (That little parody is courtesy of the fantastic writing of Edgar Allen Poe) Just call me Poet, my last name leaves much to be desired. I feel that most would include an inspirational quote right here, but I doubt my brain is capable of pulling a mover or shaker out of the ether to give me something meaninful. So, I apologize for that. Hang in there. (I found that on a cat poster). I don't really know how to write a profile, but I've been told that one needs to include a few likes and dislikes. There is something I have never shared with anyone. I despise paper plates. (Phew, that was good to get off my chest). I like swing music and classic rock, and most all music really. Except that technopop crap. Never that stuff. I have a secret fetish for Disney and Pixar movies, in particular Finding Nemo. I find his story to be very moving. My first crush was Diego from Go Diego Go and I've never really recovered. I am always in the mood to fly a kite and send it soaring, and if you ever need your house fumigated, I'm your gal. I'm a self-appointed pest control specialist. I believe at this point I am more fandom than person, and I am okay with that. I am obsessed with finding Neverland, and have sat at my window for hours waiting for Peter to show up. Still waiting. All I've ever wanted out of life is to leave proud. I'm not jonesing for a biography, mind you. I think too many people live their lives to have something worth writing about it, instead of just living it the way they want to and not caring who writes about it. I just want to know that I helped someone at least once, or turned someone's day around back to the sunshine. Sometimes I'm an optimist. Sometimes I'm a pessimist. Mostly I'm just an insanist. I've always been afraid to skydive, but maybe I will one day. Love from Poet. The children were lined up in the cafeteria of a Catholic elementary school for lunch. At the head of the table was a large pile of apples. The nun made a note, and posted it on the apple tray: "Take only ONE. God is watching." Moving further along the lunch line, at the other end of the table was a large pile of chocolate chip cookies. One of the children had written a note: "Take all you want. God is watching the apples." I wish God would watch the apples at my house. I haven't had a cookie in days. |
