I'm Grangel and originally I'm from Tumblr, but I came here to post up stories I've been making of my Fairy Tail OC: Mika Clark. I'll just be posting her mini-adventures here. I also have a story I'm writing an AU about her and Natsu, so that'll be coming soon. But her main stories are on Tumblr, so I'll link that in this. But this is all for now~

Mika Clark’s History:

When Mika was younger she used to be allowed to go outside all the time. However, one day on a camping trip when she was six, she had an accident while hiking with her dad, resulting with a permanent X-shaped scar on her right arm. Scared that such a thing may happen again, her parents decided to keep her at home, banning her from going outside.

Mika was homeschooled from that day on with only pictures, nature books, and her window as the outside world. She would stare out her window a couple hours before bed and read nature books nonstop after her homeschooling hours.

Mika had thought of running away many times as the years passed by, but got scared and stayed at home. However one day, she had finally had enough of being locked inside. Mika snuck out in the middle of the night at the age of eleven and ventured out to the big outside world, a place she dreamed of going for years. She had gotten scared sometimes and thought of going back, but stopped herself.

As time went on her fear went away as she managed to get from town to town. In order for her to keep up her strength and stamina, she would barter with hotels for a place to stay for the night and being able to get refreshed. If she was too tired from traveling, she would go to a person’s house and ask if she could stay in their basement or shed for the night.

Mika wouldn’t talk to people unless she had to, and didn’t stay in one place too long, having the fear that if she talked to a person too much, she might get lonely after leaving them. This includes Mika not contacting her family after leaving. She didn’t want to go back to being locked up in her house for the rest of her life. Mika refuses to give her last name to people for that reason, thinking that people may send her home, or contact her family telling them where she is.

On her adventure through the outside world she managed to learn some Wind Magic, though she is inexperienced, but she is proud with what she can do with it.

Ever since Mika had left home, she had worn a smile on her face all the time. It takes a lot for said smile to go away. Even in upsetting situations she still manages to keep her smile. Mika refuses to lose her smile, feeling as though it’s impolite to frown.

Mika continues to travel around the world, hoping to see everything she can.

Mika Trivia:

Mika is supposed to apparently die and or be unable to age physically or psychologically anymore on her birthday for unknown reasons.

Mika’s last name was random. The creator didn’t know what kind of last name to give her, so Grangel looked up a huge list and went with “Clark”.

Grangel finds Mika annoying because she’s too respectful and too happy. Though, she still enjoys writing her and working on her character.

Mika was originally supposed to have more seriousness in her personality, but Grangel went against it, as she wanted to try writing an optimistic person rather than someone who has negative emotions like she does.

Grangel finds it surprising that people like Mika and think she’s “cute” and “great”, since she personally finds her annoying and wonders why others don’t.

Grangel originally had a much darker way of Mika getting her scar, but went against it and chose something simpler, though she does change it in AUs.

Mika contradicts herself by saying she loves nature, though she is afraid to step inside forests because she is still traumatized of what happened to her six years ago.

Mika wishes her parents to think she’s dead so they’ll stop trying to look for her, and she trashes any wanted very few signs she sees.
