O'Brien is one of the best snipers in the unsc and is still an ODST, but as he continues his name in the records as the best sniper in record he is to be a spartan team's sniper due to an accident of another spartan's death. He now baby sits the team while also being the personal body guard of an elite who could help future soldiers of the unsc when facing alien races.
