Welcome to the page of yours truly, DictumYeti. If you're here, that means you came from my one and only story on the FanFiction archive at this point, Adventures in Kalos. I really enjoy writing Adventures in Kalos, but don't expect me to update it extremely often. I hope each individual chapter leaves you wanting more, and I'm writing/revising as fast as I can. Once I'm done with this story (which won't be for a while), I might think about dabbling in other areas of FanFiction. While I love Pokemon as much as the next guy, I've always enjoyed the fleshed out universes of Mass Effect and Halo. They would give me the opportunity to make a nitty, gritty story for those mature adults out there who love action and suspense. This is all just food for thought and way in the future. I will only pursue other stories once I finish Adventures in Kalos.

Why did you name yourself DictumYeti?

It's actually a play on my username for many of the online gaming worlds. My favorite mythical creature is the Yeti (or Sasquatch I guess) and it felt right to say that I'm one of those big hairy beasts typing on a keyboard and flooding the internet with fan fiction. It's the little things, you know?

What are your favorite Pokémon?

That's definitely a hard one. I would have to narrow it to my top three of course. My favorite of all is Totodile, I love that little croc. Second would definitely have to be Pikachu, it's the mascot and also one of the coolest Pokémon out there. My third, and yet another mainstream choice, is Riolu/Lucario just because it's a well designed Pokémon.

I do have some honorable mentions:

Salamence, Charizard, Lugia, Groudon, Garchomp, Raichu, Sharpedo, Sceptile, Aggron, and Fennekin/Delphox (in no particular order)

What about Pokémon characters?

Brock, all the way. I don't know why girls never like the guy, considering he's a doctor, can cook, and knows how to take care of kids. C'mon ladies of the Pokémon world, get your act together.

Second would definitely be Serena. She's definitely developed quite a bit since the beginning of XY and she's pushed the boundaries for Ash's female companions in terms of character and emotional development. I don't know how the writers would ever replace her, because the next girl will be so subpar compared to her.

What do you do when you're not writing?

I'm currently in college right now, getting my engineering degree in Computer Science. When I'm not doing homework or in class, I'm either writing, playing video games, or just hanging out with my friends. It may sound boring, but it's far from it in my opinion. Having a close relationship with family and friends is the greatest thing that a man could ever ask for.
