Author has written 14 stories for RWBY, Naruto, Undertale, and Destiny. (Figured I should delete all that old stuff since I haven't edited this in years and have frankly changed a lot) Hello there, random person who made the unusual decision to look at my profile. Yes, I do just go by AJ, though if you call me Pro like people do in multiplayer games, I won't mind. I am currently 19, if you must know. My passions are video games, writing, music, and the dramatic. I am pretty bad at being social, so be patient should you try to start a conversation with me. I'm just an amateur writer, writing whatever comes to his mind because its what he wants to do. I'm not out to become some professional, and have no intention to strive for professional level storytelling. That level of writing requires so much pre-planning and thought that I'd never end up actually writing anything. I'm not much of a plan ahead guy anyway. I just do this because I enjoy doing this, so I'm sorry if you have any problems with that, cause I will almost certainly not change. All that ever goes on in my head are dramatic scenes that fit whatever music I'm listening to at the time (I'm talking anime level dramatic and humans using pokemon moves level ridiculous). Then I start developing a story in my head for how those powers were earned, or activated, or whatever. Then I start thinking more about the world those things could be in and eventually I have enough going on that I want to write it. From dramatic scenes to whatever story I've added to it. The dramatic scenes are always what I'm thinking most about though, which makes me wish I could draw so you guys could see the scenes I have playing out in my head, but I have the exact opposite of any talent for visual art, so all I can do is write the stories. Sorry for all the self-inserts, but they're kinda my thing... And no, its not because I'm full of myself, its just that I'm terrible at making a consistent character and its much easier to do that if I base a character off of me. Also, its kinda fun to keep making these alternate versions and seeing how different they turn out down the line because of the things they've been through. I hope we can all just get along. I hope we can all just not be rude for no reason, and not leave rude reviews that don't help anyone, and not call people cruel names. I hope we can all show some sympathy, maybe even empathy. I hope we can all be passionate about what we want to without people being jerks about it. I hope we can all create whatever we want, be it art, or whatever the hell it is that I make. And yeah, I've accepted that I will never really like what I create, and I hope other people out there creates something recognize that as well, and not worry too much about it. Because, well, if I can never like what I make, I can just look at what other people say about it! If even a single person likes it, then there must be something good about it, right? Maybe keep that in mind and leave more than just a like on an amino post, or a follow on a fanfiction, or a like on something posted on deviantart. You don't have to always be so thoughtful with your response, you don't always have to point out good and bad. Sometimes the simplest of positive comments is all you really need to do. If you can do nothing else, then why not at least let them know you like what they made? I have many more wishes for what I want more people to do, but I don't want to keep you any longer. My biggest wish is just that humanity becomes less cruel and more kind, more thoughtful about how other people feel. I'm not a big fan of overly optimistic people, but I don't think it's stupidly optimistic to say that any good deeds really do improve the world. Don't forget to breathe, if you have a moment. Don't forget that what matters in life is enjoying it, whenever you can. Don't be mean to those that have done nothing to deserve it. Be kind, and be safe. |
