Buffy tells Spike how she really feels but she the next day she gets a call from and an old 'friend' saying he's coming back

A heartbroken Buffy finds a bit of compassion in an unexpected place. Set in the summer between Seasons 3 and 4. *Author's Note* I mistakenly posted chapter 5 twice, once in place of chapter 4. That error is now corrected.

This is a continuation of both Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel and takes place immediately after the series finale of Angel an one year after the Buffy series finale. A twist of events after the big showdown in LA brings the characters from Buffy and Angel back together. But their fight against evil is far from over. Rated T for now, will possibly be upgraded to M in the future.

This is post both shows, ignoring the comics (although I borrow a couple of their ideas). Hell has taken over LA and the Scoobies and Angel Investigations have to work together to stop it. I try to answer every question the shows left open and give the fans what they've always wanted. Will have action, suspense, mystery, drama, and romance.

After his final battle in LA Angel goes to Scotland to the slayer academy to have an angry word with Buffy, bringing them back into contact with one another; a contact which continues and grows.

Buffy and Spike. Two lonely people on opposite sides of the ocean... Spuffy eventually.

In lieu of the Slayer, Spike sets himself up as the protector of Sunnydale. However, some familiar faces reappear for their own bid to control the Hellmouth.
