Author has written 18 stories for Harry Potter, and Legend of Zelda. *Ok, I will say this once and for all so I don't have to keep typing it in reviews: I read in an online interview with JK Rowling saying that Dumbledore was 150 and Professor McGonagall was 70. Rowling said it herself, so it has to be true. A lot of people picture a much younger Professor McGonagall, and so too did I, until I read that interview. But it all worked out for the better when 67 year old Maggie Smith got casted for her part in the movie. :) Ok, I have spoken my peace on that subject and hopefully I won't have to say it again.*Hello, you can call me Nancy D, but I don't know what the D stands for, I'll let you just use your imagination. I live in the United States, and somewhere small enough that not all the movies come to the theaters here (though I just found out Gosford Park WASN'T one of them, and in fact my math teacher saw it. But she said it was only here for a week or so.) I like to write fanfiction, mostly Harry Potter humor, and I LOOOOOVE to read Harry Potter humor stories! The best movie of all time is Sister Act, (starring my favorite actress Maggie Smith) The best book of all time is Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, and the best part it is the Christmas scene with Professors McGonagall and Trelawney. Oohohohoh I laugh every time I read that!! :) I am not a 'shipper' in the Harry Potter section, The Great Hogwarts Love Controversy contradicts that statement terribly. I can be very pensive, but also very hyperactive. I looooooove costumes!! I want to dress up as a witch or a maid, and I keep waiting for the day when Rowling will make one of the female witches in Harry Potter do the high witchy cackle thing. I have an itching feeling it will never happen though. :) Now I leave you with a thought to ponder. I was dreaming about meeting a certain famous person, as I often do, and I was awoken by a thought. The part in Harry Potter #1 where Dumbledore says to Harry, "It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live, remember that." So I sort of got irritated at myself for dreaming like this and realized that I will never meet that person. But as I was thinking, another quote came to mind. This one was said by J. K. Rowling, and it was, "When you dream, you can do what you like." So I shall keep dreaming, and someday, hopefully, I shall meet that person. |
