I was roleplaying with someone on instagram and it turned into a long-term roleplay.

Then the characters children came.

Afterwards, us admins became best friends.

I fell in love with her, and that one-sided summer love seemed to last forever.

But eventually, life caught up with us. And I ended up being left behind.

My world slowly started to crack like glass.

I gave her hints, hoping she'd notice them and slow down a bit.

Eventually, those hints turned into red lights. It seemed everything I said was a plea for help.

Then everything shattered.

I was screaming, screaming until I have not a breath left to spare.

I knew not a single soul could hear. But I tried. I tried so hard.

I was on my knees, crawling, reaching out, trying to receive help.

She only walked faster, until she broke out into a full sprint.

As others walked past, I was only pulled back, clawing at the floor, screaming.

I watched, screaming and sobbing, as those I cared for disdained me.

It was so simple, yet they took no consideration, too blind by egocentricity.
