Hi! I'm Kate and I LOVE fanfiction. I'm pretty much super obsessed with Harry Potter, so naturally, all of my stories are HP related. I'm a BIG James and Lily fan, so that's what I generally write about or read.

Oh, if you look at my profile pic, I'm the BLONDE BEHIND MR. RADCLIFFE (right side). I AMAZINGLY won tickets to the NY premiere through twitter. Never been so ecstatic or felt so close to magical in all my life! And the tweet that won me my tickets was about writing fanfiction - how's that for full circle?

On a more serious note, reviews help shape me as a writer, so if you can, please submit one to me! Give me the good, the bad, the ugly - I need all the help I can get as I really hope to publish a book of my own one day.

My latest story, titled Live Love Lily, takes on a hot-headed version of Lily Evans. It's somewhat a tale of the love triangle between Severus, James, and Lily. I'm trying to figure out how to really develop character personalities, and therefore, it is prominently based on character interraction rather than action/adventure scenes. I finally have an idea of where it's going and I'm having a lot of fun with it.

The Chauvinistic Stag is my first truly completed story. :) Big feat for me. Anyway, it's a reasonably well-rounded marauder era story. It's pretty true (not perfect) to the facts released in the hp books, as many of my other stories were written/started before the series was finished.

The Rivalry of James and Lily was the first fanfiction I ever wrote. The beginning of it is atrociously, hideously written, but I find it amusing to look back at it from time and again, so I leave it that way. I may jump back and fix the grammar and such down the line, but the overall writing will not change. I may add more chapters and complete the series... we shall see.

Flirtatious was the story I probably had the most fun writing. Totally made James a boy I was crushing on hard core. Seriously humorous to look back on now. Contains a few too many grammar errors that I'm too lazy to fix, so I apologize in advance before you check it out.

The Muggleborn Slytherin was a random dream I had one night, and I turned it into a story. I still kind of like the idea, but it's not how JK has portrayed the characters in her books, so I'm not going to ever carry it any further.

And if you want to think I'm seriously crazy, check out Frying Pan. This was inspired after a much too sugar-filled night at Chevy's Fresh Mix, and may be the weirdest/most random story I have ever read on ff.net. Well, that is probably going too far, but it is up there.

I'd also love any recs you have for great Lily/James stories! I'm always looking for a good one, but don't seem to have the patience to filter through very many.
