Arcs: Chapter 1-3: Intro Arc From Depths We Rise - In Progress A Bakugan story that takes place one year after the events of Mechtanium Surge. With Dan still away and the Battle Brawlers and everyone out of the picture now, there's peace everywhere. However, not everything will be swell, for an unknown alien species is plotting somewhere, with identities to be revealed and a wish to grant to the one who seeks to make that one wish of his come true. In the midst of the plotting and the dimensional sequence, some humans are randomly plucked from Earth and meet up in New Vestroia. From there, the journey only gets weirder and more problematic. And to top things off, their Bakugan partNErs are of the most original bunch, something that would throw anyone for a loop. Join Luke, a 17-year-old rich and pampered character who dreams of getting out of his estate to see the world, get caught in the mayhem of what these unknown aliens have to offer, and what resources they pillaged from. However, he won't be alone. Along the way, he meets a girl named Esther, and the two meet their Bakugan, Abis Omega and Atchibee. Together, they begin an unlikely quest that brings them closer to understanding and furthering resolves, as well as develop bonds that could very well bring them together with more friends and save many worlds from this strange force. Current Stats: PROTAGONISTS Luke: Luke is the main protagonist of the story. He has a very pampered life, and his attitude is like that of a child who is spoiled. He has trouble figuring out things for himself, and as such, he has a very low patience and rushes into things without knowing the consequences unless spoken to about them. He may come off as someone with just a sword who doesn't think, but his heart still shows good intentions. Only after the Interacia incident does he begin to show all his qualities beginning to change. After realizing Riaan deceived him, and made him snap and destroy Thermosphere, he began to see with the help of Luka into a new light, and began to feel himself change. He realized he was weak, and was depending too much on others and took them for granted. As such, he sought to vow and make himself devoted to the cause and follow through. His arrogance was gone, replaced with growing consideration. He has mellowed out and does his best to ensure nobody gets left behind, not even his best friend Shawn. But due to what he's done, he's willing to make any kinds of actions to make up for them, no matter how degrading. -Aquos Frill Abis Omega – 600 Gs Mirror Shock: Reflects the opponent's ability and adds 300 Gs to Frill Abis Omega Fusion Abilities: Refractor Booster: Doubles the ability's power Esther: Esther is a young woman who arrived with Luke on New Vestroia. Of the group, she is the coldest, but also very mature and composed. She doesn't take time to dawdle about and look at things like Luke, and of the two, she makes all the decisions at this point. Upon realizing the Bakugan were in trouble, she apologized and hoped for the best. She's very compassionate, but is also a very calculative battler. As time and the adventure passes, she begins to show signs of attention, and gets close to Luke due to newfound resolution. As she stays around with the group sent with them, she begins to feel a little more connected, getting along well despite her distant disposition at the start. She's shown now to have faith in Luke and her friends, willing to see things through to ensure they succeed. -Darkus Dusk Atchibee – 600 Gs Wormhole: Absorbs the opponent's ability Fusion Abilities: Vermilion Raid: Adds 400 Gs to Dusk Atchibee Shuji: Shuji is a main part of the team, though his actions and attitude can very well consider him a comedic dog. In the beginning, he wasn't fond of everyone, and he wanted to discard Fly Beetle. However, after scolded by Maggie and Esther, he reluctantly keeps him around, since he really hasn't much a choice. Over the course of the story, despite being comedic in most cases and immature, he does try to take things seriously, and contributes greatly to his friends. He begins to show care and trust for his Bakugan, Fly Beetle. Despite being weak at first, thanks to him solidifying a strategy at first with his Bakugan, he began to show more confidence, and is a reasonable battler on their side. -Subterra Stag Fly Beetle - 600 Gs Giga Horn Buster: Transfers 300 Gs from the opponent to Stag Fly Beetle Fusion Abilities: Grand Booster: Adds 400 Gs to Stag Fly Beetle Maggie: Maggie is the youngest and perkiest of the whole team. She's a bit scattered and spacey, but otherwise keeps hopes and curiosity high. She does whatever she can for her friends, even if not much other than cheering and hoping. She is easily amazed by every new thing she sees, but she still stays focused on her objective regardless. While she is the youngest, she does take matters into her own hands to boost moral if too low. She is the team's perky side, and in spite of the scary trauma on Interacia, she holds her head high and tries hard to hold onto hope, no matter how scarce. -Pyrus Glow Jelldon - 600 Gs Bolting Sun: Adds 500 Gs to Glow Jelldon (Pyrus) Fusion Abilities: Maximum Bolt: Transfers 300 Gs from the opponent to Glow Jelldon Shawn: Shawn is Luke's childhood and closest comrade. He is like an older brother to Luke, and of the two, he is the most mature and respectful. He always tails Luke to bail him out of trouble, and often likes to poke fun at him when he feels like it. Despite their personlaities of brotherly insistence, they worked very well together, as Luke has been trained by sword and Shawn uses a Fencer for self-defense. While Shawn was shocked t finding out Riaan betrayed them, he didn't lose his cool like Luke did. He was able to process and understand, and eventually came to understand why. He is able to accept circumstances, but he isn't afraid to side with Luke or against him depending on severity of certain situations. During his battle against Maximus, he admits that he felt responsible for Luke's poor decisions that cost lives, but he soon came to realize that Luke needs him just as much as he needs Luke, because of their brotherly bond. -Haos Prime Verias - 600 Gs Bolt Cutter: Halves the opponent's current power level Fusion Abilities: Sheer Valkyrie: Subtracts 300 Gs from each opponent Jase: Jase is the oldest and most mature of the group. Being a military expert and Colonel, he knows his way around machinery, if not relies on his friends if needed. He is normally smirking, showing calming composure. He is the most tactful of them all, and he is very easily reserved, making it hard for everyone to understand his enigmatic demeanor. Of all of them, he is the most sarcastic, even in serious scenarios. If needed, he is the team's de facto when it comes to resources and information. He is able to figure out possibilities and instead guides everyone sort of speak. He admits that while he could be a leader, he chooses instead to have others follow along while he makes hints for them to figure out themselves. -Ventus Gale Atmos - 600 Gs Vacuum Turmoil: Reflects the opponent's ability with 100 Gs added to the effect Fusion Abilities: Wise Sky: Transfers 200 Gs from the opponent to Gale Atmos and makes the ability unable to be nullified ANTAGONISTS ROGUE ZERO: Maximus: Maximus is the head of the Rogue Zero. Of the Rogue Zero, he has the most powerful ambitions. He is very cruel, but otherwise is mildly generous to claims as long as he gets results by the end. He is the most cunning of them all, and whatever he asks of Rogue Zero, they follow without much say due to his sheer confidence. However, he has low tolerance, so low that he gets a tamper like a little kid, showing a behavior much like Luke in the beginning. In spite of this, he can be calculative and very insistent in battle and in redemption. He does not waver so easily from the group he faces and will do whatever it takes to destroy them. -Darkus Goblinball - 500 Gs Darkus Force: Adds 300 Gs to Goblinball -Trap Bakugan Darkus Fortress - 400 Gs Proton Mars: Adds 200 Gs to Fortress Xander: He is the right-hand man of Maximus, and acts as the second head of Rogue Zero. Of Maximus and Xander, the latter is more rude and insidious. He has a distinct antisocial disposition, but nevertheless keeps the others in line. He has a dislike with Ariella since she butts heads with his attitude, but he usually wins the argument. Though not entirely loyal to his group, he holds the deepest and most faithful respects for Maximus, his closest friend, and will do anything if asked. -Pyrus Hyper Dragonoid - 500 Gs Pyrus Volting: Adds 300 Gs to Hyper Dragonoid -Trap Bakugan Pyrus Metalfencer - 400 Gs Red Valkyrie: Adds 200 Gs to Hyper Dragonoid and Metalfencer Ariella: She is the Aquos brawler for Rogue Zero. She has a rather snarky if not sassy disposition. Like Hendrix, she has little tolerance of failure, but unlike him, she can be cruel and look for excuses to blame others. She has a very manipulative nature, and takes pleasure in making other struggle. She craves power and will do whatever it takes to achieve it, like Maximus, going so far as to 'modify' Bakugan to make them better for her use. This behavior stems from her childhood when she lost her pampered lifestyle, and since then has been trying to keep necessities needed to survive. She's not picky as to what is needed, so long as she gets something out of it in the end. That goes for Bakugan as well. She is seen usually alongside Hendrix. -Aquos Clawcer – 450 Gs Power Merge: Transfers 100 Gs from each opponent to every Bakugan on its team -Trap Bakugan Aquos Tripod Theta - 350 Gs Power Merge: Transfers 100 Gs from the opponent for every Bakugan on Tripod Theta's team Hendrix: Hendrix is the brawn of the group. He is broad, but even though he may not look it, he is by far the most sympathetic and quelled of the Rogue Zero. He is very calm and composed, and unlike the brash and sassy Ariella, he's reserved and doesn't speak, he isn't cruel, and has a more respectful nature. Because of this, he has the most sensibility of the group, though has no objections to what others, even comrades, say. He is often seen alongside Ariella. -Subterra Rafflesian – 450 Gs Mineral Plight: Adds 200 Gs to Rafflesian -Trap Bakugan Subterra Legionoid - 350 Gs Clear Poison: Returns opponent Bakugan's power levels back to base level (Aquos) Killian: Killian is the more mellow of his associates. He and Hendrix share a calm composure, however, Killian is a little easier to break down and see through. He usually tries to keep himself reserved, but does poorly at it and speaks his mind. If directing to those superior, he backs down and follows. He seeks easier methods to get the job done, but isn't intent on hostility, but will be if told to. He is very respective if in a good mood, but if caught in a corner, he'll snap and get desperate to pull himself out. Because of his worker bee-like attitude, he's the favorite to Galilea, who is hinted of more than an intimate affiliation with him. -Ventus Moskeeto - 450 Gs Aero Slim: Adds 200 Gs to Moskeeto and subtracts 100 Gs from each opponent -Trap Bakugan Ventus Triad El Condor - 350 Gs Black Hail: Nullifies the opponent's Gate Card and adds 200 Gs to Triad El Condor (Darkus) Cesar: He is the brains and main resources of the Rogue Zero. He is the most intellectual and sophisticated of them. However, he has a tendency to gloat and exaggerate his genius, and thus gets him very to overconfident. However, when it comes to mechanism, he cannot be beat. Ever since he was young, he was a scholar when it came down to machinery and dabbling in technology; Thermosphere and Troposphere were two examples of this. He takes incredulous pride upon himself and strives to make sure his will on advancing surpasses Lucia one day. -Haos Freezer - 450 Gs Freeze Jail: Stops time around the opponent and prevents them from activating any abilities Fusion Abilities: Plexus: Adds 100 Gs to Freezer Trap Bakugan Haos Dynamo - 400 Gs Gillian Chords: Adds 200 Gs to Dynamo HADES PILLARS: Cyrus: Cyrus is the undisputed leader of Hades Pillars. He has a very calm and authoritative disposition around him when present. He is a modest individual who takes pride in the status he has with his colleagues, although his attachments to the group do not tether him. He takes power over the numbers needed, and will make whatever sacrifices necessary to ensure victory. Even in his childhood, not once has he shown any means of fear...because exactly what was he? -Darkus Raptorix - 800 Gs Barbaric Claw: Adds 300 Gs to Raptorix Galilea: Next to Cyrus, she and Cyrus are two heads that run Hades Pillars. She is very headstrong and deeply authoritative. She runs things very much like an actual boss would to anyone beneath her, especially to Rogue Zero. She is cold and willing to scold them for actions taken, however, the only one who she doesn't exert her ire for is Killian. His attitude and sympathizing has made her take it easy on him, and tries to ensure that it stays that way. It's hinted that she has some intimate needs for him as well since he makes her happy. -Ventus Buzz Hornix - 800 Gs Compound Brace: Subtracts 200 Gs from the opponent Amina: Amina's personality is the cliché hungry for power kind of woman. She is a very spoiled woman who offers nothing to the poor and takes whatever is not hers. She discards even the most lavish of objects and gives no damn for the circumstances as long as she has control for it. She has a lot of money that she continuously gets, thus she spends it on clothes and necessities that otherwise have no relevance to her duties, which she dismisses and passes onto someone else. She has a great distaste in Lucia, and will do anything to show her up and damn her because of her powers. -Aquos Nastix - 700 Gs Gastro Soak: Subtracts 200 Gs from each opponent Battlegear: Prozar Prozar Nuclear: Subtracts 400 gs from each opponent and adds 400 Gs to Nastix, and this ability can't be nullified (Lv 1) Magnus: Magnus is a laid-back individual who goes easy on his individuals. While he isn't the most dedicated of Hades Pillars, he is perhaps the most passionate when it comes to looking out for those who he's close with. Due to his and Hendrix's pasts of being part of gangs, he feels tethered to him and feels Hendrix owes him for saving his life from the streets. He is also the most noteworthy for a dirty attitude, commenting about woman's assets and how Killian bagged the voluptuous Galilea. When on the field against adversaries impending his path, he doesn't hesitate to harass them, to show his superiority or otherwise downsize them. -Subterra Glotronoid - 700 Gs Mal Impact: Transfers 200 Gs from the opponent to Glotronoid Zion: Zion is described as someone who is all duty. Of Hades Pillars, he is the most dedicated and loyal to Riaan's cause. He has a soldier's disposition, and isn't afraid to stick up for the cause and reprimand those who falter on it. Because of this, he feels degraded when insulted, and is easy to offend, prompting him to threaten with their lives at stake. He is dead serious, though he and Magnus do have some moments of contradictions. He gets along with Magnus and Cyrus the most. Out of all of Hades Pillars, he is without a doubt the most brutal due to his sake of "reality", which is basically an essential to survive. And that means to be on guard, no matter what, so even in the midst of a Bakugan battle, he will physically assault his prey, to where he will kill them mercilessly. -Pyrus Snapzoid - 700 Gs Taser Fang: Adds 200 Gs to Snapzoid Lucia: She is a very composed and elegant woman of high stature; even the way she is dressed is pronounced regal. Even in the heat of situations, she is composed and not easy to break, similarly to Jase. She is invaluable because she alone has the power to see into the future, and she is never wrong. Because of her powers, Riaan finds her needed, and in turn she is gracious and hints possible affections towards him. She is aware of Amina's spite for her, and in return shows discord for her behavior if it interferes with Riaan's wishes. -Haos Lumitroid - 700 Gs Cluster Brace: Transfers 200 Gs from the opponent to Lumitroid OTHERS: Alice -Darkus Alpha Hydranoid - 900 Gs Death Trident: Subtracts 300 Gs from the opponent Fusion Abilities: Final Destruction: Adds 600 Gs to Alpha Hydranoid Arcs: Chapter 1-14: New Vestroia Arc My Main OCs The Fairy Contender/A Contender's Bonds/The Contender's Ascent: Nic Pularis Age: Appearance: Nic is a young man that had warm blue eyes and short black haired that spiked slightly up towards his right. He sported sunglasses on sunny days, but on any other occasion, they'd be hooked in the 'V' of his gray V-Neck T-shirt. He wore a sleeveless, long coat that went down to the back of his shins, keeping the coat unbuttoned. The coat was a plain black with blue flames flickering on the back, reaching from the bottom to the top of his thighs. He had on roomy, blue jeans and wore black shoes with a red pattern all about. He also sported a Mega Wristband on his left wrist. When relaxing, he was seen wearing earbuds in his ears when listening to his music on his phone that he had in his coat pockets. Due to his drastic injuries from Lysandre during the Tenrou Island Arc, he lost his left eye, being replaced by an artificial one. And as a result of the tear on the right side of his torso, he now has a giant scar covering his lower right. In X791, his appearance has changed. He sported navy blue baggy pants that tightened to the ankles, and had on new black shoes with red outlining. He adorned a new gray V-neck T-shirt. His coat this time had short sleeves that overlapped the V-neck's short sleeves. The coat was otherwise the same length as the one before. The coat was open with a solid black color with purple edging. On the back was a purple Fairy Tail symbol surrounded by a purple circle. The coat was kept secured by a light purple belt around Nic's waist, which had a Poke Ball symbol on the front. Prior to the Council War Arc, Nic has a scar that runs diagonally down his back from defending Jellal. And after the Impure Underworld Arc, he has a large scar on the left side below the ribs, similar to the large-scale scar Lysandre gave him, but this one by his Uncle Vince. In the year X792, Nic adorned a new fashion, which resembled much of a Shinigami attire. It was almost all black, but the top half and belt resembled his X791 appearance. The difference, however, were the sleeves, as they were an inch longer and had two layers. The outer layer was black while the inner layer was purple. He wears a gray V-neck underneath. The bottom half was black, with baggy pants concealed. Rather than actual shoes, he adorned dark sandals with gray socks for comfort. Six months after marrying Erza, Nic's attire become a long black coat with dark purple edging, with the rolled up sleeves becoming dark purple; the left sleeves having the Key Stone stitched into it. The coat is open to reveal his bare chest, having no shirt. He adorns a gold sash to sustain his gray baggy pants all the way down towards his shoes, which are black, with gold lacing and gray shock absorbers. He also gained some height, now becoming almost an inch over Erza. Personality: Nic is a kind and compassionate individual, always looking out and having faith in his friends and Pokemon. Nic was primarily a calm, very mature, and very intelligent. With these traits, he's considered a serious figure who can be given a leadership role if implied. When first introduced, Nic didn't take unexpected twists and events well, panicking when under pressure; however, when lives are at stake, and those who are close to him are in danger, his startled demeanor was immediately replaced by a righteous and very serious ideal. He would always take action, not remaining down and making his own plans. When as implied, Nic is able to elaborate and decipher a predicament far easier than any normal human being. He was also shown to be rather reckless, always daring himself to do something out of his way, which ultimately ended in his favor. Though despite these good qualities, he could be rather misunderstanding when it came to guessing, proving just how silly he might be. However, after joining Fairy Tail, and participating in many adventures, Nic apparently lost his stressful, clueless, and silly demeanor, leaving him take almost anything serious. Although he still retained his luck, yet isn't as reckless as he used to be. He normally has a mild and friendly disposition, allowing others to give him the lead role and allow him to take charge and follow his orders. With his experience as a Pokemon Trainer, Nic is able to give swift and decisive orders, reinforcing his leadership position. He is shown to be a very powerful authority figure, just as swift on orders as Erza Scarlet, though Nic was more easygoing, and doesn't prefer to chastise one's flaws as long as he helps them understand their flaws. His pure and strong-hearted character makes him a valuable asset to Fairy Tail, and dislikes doubt clouding up his mind. Because of heart and skills that is said to bring light, he's nicknamed Luminous, which he learned when battling the Phantom Lord Guild Master, Jose. He takes pride in his Pokemon and as a brother, though he's not above protecting them with his life. If they're in a struggle in which they were rendered unable to defend against, he's step in and take the blows. He'll resort to fighting all alone in order to save lives, but never hesitates to allow his Pokemon to step in. He and his Pokemon are like a family, and added with Vanessa, he'd put his pride on the line to keep them all in one piece. However, if he fails to do so, he never forgives himself, condemning himself to silently crying if he fails to save or protect his friends and love ones. If any reason fall within those lines, he'll never do said reasons again, such as making promises in which he always breaks. Aside from all of that, when Nic's phone or earbuds are in the hands or harmed by another person, no matter whom it may be, he shows a completely different side of himself. He becomes fear itself, going into a tyrannical rampage and demolishing all of the people and individuals responsible for harming his two precious mementos of his dead grandparents. He becomes a feral behemoth and can nearly kill someone. Ever since he's shown this side to the guild when Gray accidentally stepped on his phone, the guild never angered him after that. They all keep their fighting away from him so that they don't get a taste of his wrath. People comment that he's more fierce than Mirajane's Satan Soul and Erza put together. He isn’t easy to confront his own fears. When he first saw his deceased Mom and Dad reborn, he immediately went for the attack in defense, allowing his anger to get ahead of him. With the lack of trust in family, he was extremely hesitant and did not rely on his Mom and Dad like he did with Erza nor Vanessa. However, when Mark and Laura proved the wanted to change and be a family by defending Nic, his verdict overturned, and he admitted his selfishness in not giving them a second change. In the end of the adventure with Mark and Laura, Nic had come to forgive his past and accept everything that has happened to be a strength. Because he had finally moved on from his past and had forgiven everything – even his mother and father – he rid of his phone and earbuds for good, allowing them to go the afterlife with his parents, to allow his full past to lay at rest. For a brief time afterwards, Nic and Vanessa were traumatized and depressed from the torture they have been given by the Rivolta, and the passing of their true family. It was thanks to Erza that Nic and Vanessa were able to heal and move on. Since then, Nic and the two had a more prominent aspect when it came to light and darkness, where they value both rather than seek to destroy one side entirely. As revealed, Nic loves to listen to heavy metal, as it always helped him as he trains. The metal he listens too helps him pump his blood and helps filter out his anger and frustration. When he was promoted to S-Class unofficially, it was also realized that he is unable to hold down liquor. He can't take even the tiniest of sips, no matter how weak or strong. He'll go on a tyrannical rampage and point out flaws that aren't even there, in which he attacks anyway. It's also because of his past abuse and pain that the alcohol expresses his violence and stored frustration, giving and yelling orders in which he still attacks regardless. Background: In his past, he was an abused child. His parents always took care of his sister, Vanessa, and they hardly paid any attention to him. Because of this lack of parental guidance and abuse, he loathes authority and will put his foot down against those who are older than him, no matter what circumstances. It's because of this that he becomes an authority figure himself. His parents always blamed him for everything and anything, and he got beaten up and barely fed any food, not even a bed. These events made Nic forge on his own and he always slept in hard-to-sleep places. So he now sleeps on tables and wherever he wants, and finds it so foreign to sleep on a bed. One day, he tried standing up to them, but was bruised and nearly bloody. He ran away the day after, but the police found him, and Nic told his abused story to them, and right in front of his parents as well. This action made his parents deliberately try and kill him, which they failed because the police were right there. His parents were locked up and sentenced to life in prison due to nearly having their son rot for fifteen years or so. His sister joined the neighbors, much to her delight, and Nic set off on a journey, never looking back at the abused child he was. However, as revealed in the Impure Underworld incident, it turned out the reason behind the parents and their actions for abuse was from the Giratina origins they have inherited. The Impure Underworld Spell had turned his parents aggressive, add in the fact that Nic resembled much of his Uncle Vince in personality. Since learning this truth, Nic had overturned his previous spite, and has accepted the cataclysmic fate that had befallen him, claiming it’s what made him strong. Abilities: - Multitype: Thanks to the powers bestowed to him by Arceus, Nic is able to control any unlocked Plates in his possession. Nic's attire also may change color and the flames on the lower part of his coat may alter to that fitting that to his Plate, and he may also attain gloves and shoes and/or boots varying on said Plate utilized. Nic's powers and skills vary with each Plate, with him using using only one Type at a time. If he changes to his Splash Plate Form, Nic will not only be able to use Water-Type moves, but he also has the power to breath and live underwater. If he changes to his Toxic Plate, he is immune to any and all poisons and can neutralize them at will. The types of powers vary depending on the Plate active. The more Nic uses of the same Plate, the more experienced and more adapted he will become, thus being able to manipulate said Type. Nic's strengths and weaknesses equal that to the Plate in use, much like Pokemon Types. Even after relinquishing the Plates back to Arceus, Nic still retained his Pokemon powers and was able to change his form at will. Though not as powerful with the Plates gone, Nic’s Multitype prowess has continued to gain strength as he battles and trains. Legendary Force: Nic can undergo a transformation that enables him to give a humanoid appearance of Legendary Pokemon. Each Legendary Force gives him a different Legendary Pokemon to take the form of, and his powers and capabilities differentiate with each form. With this power, his strength is not only equal to that of a Legendary Pokemon, but he can use a technique called Maxus Legendary Arts. Unlike Legendary Arts, Maxus Legendary Arts is far more powerful, and the attack is embedded with the Legendary Force's moveset. However, there is a price to using Legendary Force. Nic becomes fatigued and exhausted to a critical point, and Maxus Legendary Arts uses up a lot, if not most of, a Legendary Force's power, shortening his time span of that form. Nic is visibly fatigued to the point of losing consciousness. The more he uses Legendary Force, the more control he obtains, and the longer he can stay in it. If pushed hard enough his Maxus Legendary Arts can be used more than once. After training in the dimension for three months, he seems to have much grander durability, and is able to endure using Legendary Force for much longer periods of time, without any recoil of side effects involved. When he used Legendary Force - Groudon, against Sting and Rogue, not only was he able to exceed power levels unmatched, but even after using his attacks and Maxus Legendary Arts, he did not pant and was undeterred. Legendary Arts/Maxus Legendary Arts: Legendary Arts are techniques or signature moves of Legendary or Mythical Pokemon. A Legendary Arts is extremely powerful and potentially deadly to an enemy. When using a Legendary Force, it must coordinate with the Plate that is active. If he is to use Blue Flare, it must be in his Flame Plate Form. However, using a Legendary Force takes up so much power that not only does it make Nic fatigued sometimes, but they consume a large amount of a Plate's capabilities that Nic reverts back to his default form. However, as time goes on, Nic has proven to have ascertained endurance to coincide with a Legendary Arts. The more he uses a Plate, the stronger he gets, and the more tolerant he is when using a Legendary Force. He can perhaps stay in the same Plate after a certain span of time and training with a certain Plate. Maxus Legendary Arts is a stronger version used only in the Legendary Force that it coincides with. Like Legendary Arts, Maxus Legendary Arts uses up an extreme amount of power, but at the same time is strong enough to reshape the landscape. Time/Space: Avatar Arc, it was revealed that Nic had been training to master some qualities of time and space like Dialga and Palkia. Within a year, he is able to, but only to a very weak extent. While his time powers are unknown, Nic is able to use Palkia’s spatial powers to make portals wherever he chooses, as well as cancel out Spatial Magic used against him. However, due to the weak extent, it only affects the small area around him, and he can’t use it to attack, but only make the area around him immune to Time/Space Magic. - Immense Speed: As stated by a few, and as described by others, Nic is among the fastest anyone has ever known. His speed his enhanced to a very high level that if you miss an attack then he'll hit you within a short span of time. He can cover a long distance in a short period of time. Thanks to the training he did in Kalos for three years, not only does Nic have enough speed and power to dash at an alarming rate, but he can also scale and leap from tree to tree in just the same time span. His speed on land and in trees are almost on par and nobody can catch him when he's in the trees, dashing and leaping much like the capabilities of a ninja. Nic continues to grow in speed and his quick feet gives him an edge in battle. As of the year X792, he moves so fast that he is almost invisible, showing his training to be effective. - Immense Strength: Nic is able to unleash several brutal strikes at a time with his muscle prowess. He isn't bulky, but very well toned so as to give him the strength to smash rocks if applying the right force in his kicks or punches. His prowess spikes tremendously when enraged, being able to plow Jellal into a giant lacrima and obliterate it. He even had the strength to throw Laxus through a column when they fought. It was shown that his anger was so influential, it almost broke apart Erza Knightwalker's Ten Commandments. He was soon shown training with his shirt off and doing a handstand with a massive flat stone on his feet, trying to balance it with all of his Pokemon's combined weight on as they meditated. His strength and determination are the prime traits that made him a rivaling force against Lysandre and Acnologia; the latter wanting to test Nic's strength for the longest time until the bitter end. - Immense Durability: Nic has a strong-willed spirit that enables him to keep fighting until all of his opponents fall. Hardly does Nic concede and show weakness unless the brawl has dragged out to an exceeded amount of time. He is shown to fight through pain, much like when he fought Gajeel when he was bruised in the leg, and also get back up to his feet in no time when taking on Jose. Nic was able to use Mirror Move to stop Jupiter and still managed to have more than enough strength to fight the rest of Phantom Lord and Jose on his own. He was able to come out from beating Jose without looking fatigue, and was able to take on Erza not long after. Nic possesses an incredible level of endurance that he can even take a multitude of attacks and still survive, though even his durability is limited as shown when a triple attack was initiated by the Oracion Seis. - Immense Reflexes: Nic has proven himself to be able to block attacks and counter in a flash. He was able to dodge and dish out attacks to The Nightmare and was also able to keep himself at a high guard when quarreling with Gajeel. Nic's reflexes allowed him to even keep up with Jose and even avoid attacks if not intercept them. Nic was shown to have a very strong sensory, being able to detect an enemy's presence if close enough and sense incoming attacks and either block or mainly dodge. His reflexes were even on par with Erza's being able to intercept and evade so many slashes from her and even showed to even dish out even more attacks back at her. He is shown to be a quick thinker, able to quickly intercept or use the surroundings to his advantage and launch decisive counterattacks. He was able to react fast enough to swat away Laxus when he was using his Lightning Body, which allowed him to move very fast. He was able to even evade Erza Knightwalker's Ten Commandments when battling her, avoiding almost every strike. Even after the few years afterwards, Nic's reflexes allowed him to act so fast that he was able to parry the many blows dished by the likes of Tartaros demons and Mard Geer himself. A year later, he easily took on both Irene Belserion and Acnologia, able to react fast enough to their attacks. - Master Hand-to-Hand Combatant: As described by Nic, he trains with his Pokemon, meaning that he also deliberately attacks them as they do to him, knowing it's how Nic will get strong. Thanks to three years of gruesome and S-Class Pokemon training Nic endured and mastered, he is able to deliver quick and powerful assaults when in close range. He is shown to be able to be a heavily skilled fighter in terms of his experience and could take on hand-to-hand fighters like Natsu, Erza, and even take on Laxus alone, who was beyond anyone's level in power and skill. He was also shown to be skilled when he took on some members of Tartaros before acquiring the Dread Plate. He was also able to keep up with Laxus and was able to suppress his counterpart, Nic Nebulus, back in the past. After the timeskip, Nic’s combat skills have enhanced considerably; even going as far as bare handed in some fights and hold up unscathed against immeasurable adversaries such as all of Team Natsu and against the Underworld King Mard Geer. - Keen Intellect: At first, Nic was slightly confused, but after his time in Fiore, he has become a very serious person, meaning his intel levels were always alert. He was able to decipher the weaknesses of the Tartaros members and also notice Jose's Magic levels. Nic was also shown to use his past as a strong base of knowledge and was able to even relate Nirvana to an event he bared with called 'The Ultimate Weapon', a device used by Team Flare that he was able to stop. He is able to used even the smallest of details to get a general idea, like when Nirvana and its properties were mentioned before anything else, and when Master Makarov said Fairy Tail will join a coalition of Guilds, even was able to analyze his enemies and what few words they say and putting pieces of the puzzle together. - Artist: Nic is a talented artist, being able to craft a small monument of Simon for the last part with his date with Erza. Nic explained that when he wasn't training with his Pokemon back in Kalos, he would always find something to draw or make use of whatever material was around. It was revealed he exploited this talent after reaching Santalune Forest. Nic's Pokemon Greninja Gender: Male Ability: Torrent Personality: In terms of character, Greninja is just, if not mostly, the same as Nic. Greninja is a very compassionate Pokemon, who is willing to put his life on the line for the sake of others. He has a strong passion for battle, and with Nic, Greninja never doubts him, not even once. The two think alike, almost as though they were one and the same. Greninja has been Nic's first Pokemon. From the beginning, both got along very well. Greninja knows all too well what goes on in Nic's head, and is always there in return to support Nic's wishes. He speaks on behalf of everybody, so whatever he speculates, they all do so as well. If not Nic, then everyone can follow him. Due to his immense bond with Nic, and their similar isolated pasts, they came to fully understand one another, and their wavelengths intertwine to become Nic-Greninja. With this power, Nic-Greninja looks a lot like Nic, and both get purple eyes as a result. They are able to share a number of qualities, ranging from speed, to vision, even able to feel one another’s pain. In a way, it’s like becoming one. It is with this power of bonds that Greninja and Nic are proven to be the best team. Former Moves: Water Pulse, Dark Pulse, Smokescreen, Bounce Charizard Gender: Male Ability: Blaze/Tough Claws when Mega Charizard X Personality: Charizard can be described as being strong. He likes to go that extra mile when training and confronting strong battling opponents, being able to do extra work when needed, as seen when he helps in the guild hall reconstruction. Even though he is strong-willed and is a very reputable Pokemon for battle, he likes to tease, though this is rarely shown as he likes to keep those things to himself if ever needed. He has faith in Nic and the two can work together in any situation regardless of the conditions they're put in. He rarely doubts Nic, so much that he and him share a strong bond, which allows Mega Evolution, the only time he doubts is when Nic goes to the extreme, but Charizard follows him no matter what. Due to the times they have shares and all the things they have been through, Charizard has a strong bond with Nic, and is quite friendly with the Trainer. He was the second to become part of Nic's team. Former Moves: - Kecleon Gender: Female Ability: Color Change Personality: She can be considered odd. She is somewhat strange in how she talks in a creepy manner, but everyone on Nic's team is used to it, and they don't mind it in the remote slightest. She says weird things at times, but is able to get her point across, regardless. Greninja is relied on by speed, but Kecleon is a master when it comes to stealth, making her a silent killer on Nic's team, which is also why she almost never loses in her battles. Her trademark, beside her odds word choices, is her tilting of the head. It happens all the time, even against mighty foes. With her strength adept from battling and training with Nic, Kecleon is like Nic’s other Pokemon; gutsy, unwilling to give up, and can even use her sticky tongue to slam and grab material, even foes, as proven when battling a Mega Tyranitar. Former Moves: Screech, Shadow Sneak Staraptor Gender: Female Ability: Intimidate Personality: She shows absolute zero fear in battle. She will take on any and all enemies that come at her. She is regarded as to having the most skilled flying combat ever known. She never loses in the air. She takes a forward approach rather than a stealth approach. Despite the fact she does like taking frontal approaches, she is regarded as one of Nic's most intelligent Pokemon, able to deduce battle situations while delivering harsh blows. She was caught as a Staravia, and the fourth to join Nic. What is primitive about Nic’s Staraptor is that aside from her immense endurance and durability, she has been trained to handle ground-based combat. Unlike most avian Pokemon, Nic trained Staraptor to move at lightning speeds on her talons, as if she didn’t have to fly to begin with. She is equally as fast on the ground and in the trees, making her a versatile threat. Former Moves: - Arbok Gender: Male Ability: Shed Skin Personality: Arbok is very mild and loyal to Nic. He shall obey every command given from him and will follow through with those orders dutifully. When approach by anyone else however, Arbok would be snobbish and spiteful, even holding mutual animosity towards opponents that show no honor in battle; regardless, he does have a sense of justice and shall do so to make things right. Over time, if around the same people, he starts treating them with respect and becomes less snobbish. His slithery body can allow him to pass opponents with ease, striking ever so fast and getting through tight spots. Despite being snobbish and proud, Arbok will back up allies, but only when he feels it is justified, or when Nic orders him too. But like everyone else, Arbok loves his family as much as they all love him; thus, he never shows ill-respect towards them. After the battle he had with August, Arbok began to loosen with his suffix "-sssama" towards Nic, addressing him as Nic instead. However, his loyalty remained unchanged and he continues to show loyalty without bounds towards his master and Trainer. Former Moves: Glare Garchomp Gender: Male Ability: Sand Veil/Sand Force when Mega Garchomp Personality: He is exceedingly hostile and attacks with brutal intentions in battle. He is Nic's most violent Pokemon by far, being able to annihilate or tear up anything in the air with just a Dual Chop or Crunch. Even the mention of a brawl gets him excited and wanting to tear up something. He has an immense thrill for battle, something he and Nic both understand and use to their advantage. Both love to battle, anytime and against anyone. When he's outside of battle, however, he shows a completely different side. He's very mild and calm, letting Nic pet and hug him. He can be very gentle, despite his dark-toned and aggressive voice. However, he can also retain a warrior-minded mentally in his calmness, taking offense to teasing by others. Even so, he loves his family, and will put his life on the line to save them. Former Moves: Slash, Crunch OTHERS IN FAIRY TAIL Natsu: Lucy: Gray: Juvia: Joey: Dereece: Duncan: Gajeel: Levy: Cana: Sophie: Mirajane: Elfman: Lisanna: Wendy: Max: Kinana: One's Road to Remembrance: Craig Crius Age: 18 Appearance: Craig has crow-colored short hair slicked back. He has sea blue eyes that can make one either feel calm or see themselves at the mercy of a predator. His sharp teeth could tear trough meat. His toned and muscular physique was covered in a large sea green t-shirt. He had on black pants and boots, and a thing, gray jacket with brown sleeves wrapped around his waist. The jacket concealed three swords sheathed behind him and out of sight. His forearms had titanium armbands, and his knees had heavy ankle weights. Personality: When he first lost his memory in the beginning, Craig was a confused boy, distraught by only remembering his name. After 4 years, his personality seems to have a more aggressive front. He has become very hostile, and quick to throw comments around that could offend a person. He shows ill-will to practically everyone and keeps his distance from them. He skips the threats and goes straight for the attack, showing little mercy. Despite his aggressive demeanor, he does have a sympathetic side, as he helps the poor if they're robbed, but spends little time before running off. Craig has his own way of settling matters, even by means of reflecting upon experience or even handling the situation solo. With the experience he's had, he's able to surpass any level of difficulty and by his own means. He has his own perspective on justice, which shows he has a sense of right and wrong. While bound by light guild laws and the Magic Council, Craig dares not cares of such things. He does justice his own way, and if anyone - friend or foe - stands in his way, he will fight back and possibly slay them. He does. however, know when there is unnecessary quarreling is around, and only engages in meaningful fighting. For example, when Erza arrived to take him and Cana back to the guild, he did not find that action justified, and while he did not want to fight her, she forced him to fight, in which he retaliated violently and curbstomped her with extreme blood loss. To this action, he also has his view of pride and honor something that he rather throw away to help the misfortune than stick to laws and rules. His principle on helping the poor and make them feel happy far outweighs any other principle bound by law, and he'll prove it to anyone who opposes him. Through his hostile front, Craig is actually a sensitive person, who takes lives seriously and personally. When people give their lives for him, he ends up crying in the end, hence his bitterness. The thought of those lives he saved always makes him cry. His sensitivity is much more reserved than any demented human being, as he always stays away from people as he sobs his heart out. As he sleeps, all of his dreams are nothing more than memories of the 4 years that have been unkind, and are almost gory and of his past allies dying. He wakes up sweating and with tears staining his face. In the face of others when the subject of his history comes up, he bitterly brushes them off. Even after Fairy Tail looks into his entire memories, he ends up crying in his home that night, still recounting those memories with scorn. However, the only person he is willing to open up to is Cana. While he still hates everybody else with all of his heart, he still resents Cana, but at the same time, he's grown some sort of askewed bond with her. Due to a terrible start, and Craig being harsh, the two almost always end up bickering and yelling, almost to the point of not making remote sense. They yell a lot, getting awkward impressions, even in the midst of battle, they always end up bickering and fighting. However, due to their awkward bond, Craig was willing to foresake himself to have Cana help him by sleeping with him. The two, no matter how much they hate to admit it, fair well as a team, and Craig seems to rely on her if not himself. With her - miraculously - he slowly regains old memories, and much to his shock, she was his long-lost childhood friend. However, even with this fact, their relationship doesn't change much. Since his mind is all messed up from his memory loss in the beginning and the unknown events 4 years prior, he has endless flashbacks on the events of those 4 years, showing he has a very traumatizing memory. Abilities: -Enhanced Speed: Craig is shown to get from point to point B relatively quickly. Despite the leg weights, he's very light on his feet. His strikes are swift as they are sharp. When Cana was hurt when they first met, Craig took care of the guys attacking her by appearing in front without warning. -Immense Reflexes: Due to his gruesome 4 years, he's developed great sense of timing and able to parry blows. The most effective use of his reflexes is when he pulls out his swords to attack or defend. He is able to block attacks from behind and in front, and his pivoting with his four-sword technique covers all angles in an instant. -Immense Strength: Though not as muscular as Gajeel or Elfman, Craig's raw animal power is unparalleled. He is strong enough to use a single uppercut and send a member of a Dark Guild flying, or use a single punch to send a guy crashing into a wall full force. His brute strength is beyond orthodox, as he was able to haul an entire broken building part overhead and throw it at Grander. This immense level of strength can even reach to striking critical wounds on S-Class Mage Erza Scarlet, who has a high tolerance of pain. His extreme caliber of strength even allows him to throw creatures of heavy proportions overhead, or far enough to smash into walls and shatter them. -Master Swordsmanship Specialist: At some point in the 4 years, Craig learned to wield two swords in hand, and one in his mouth; however, while the swords in his hands are regular swords, the sword in his mouth is a double-bladed sword, meaning a sword on both end of the golden sheath. His swordsmanship is unorthodox as he can dispatch a pressurized attack with two swords at most with little effort. He has the power to dispatch an entire Dark Guild by using all four of his swords. Though the full extent of his skill and experience is hard to tell. His swords and abilities are so intense that he could slice through titanium, a feature that Erza was unable to accomplish. -Immense Durability: Due to past experiences with power beyond comprehension, Craig has developed an immense will that cannot be broken so easily. His body, coupled by how much strength he can pressurize, has an overwhelming appeal in durability. He can actually stay in one piece, as to where Grander's attacks could slice up everything. He can handle a great level of blood loss, and still be able to stand with no problem. -Immense Jaw Power: Unlike most humans, Craig was born with sharper teeth, with more visible canines shown. His jaw strength is not very measurable, but it's far above average. He can rip through meat like it was paper, and his jaws were so strong that it was able to bite into titanium-hard skin and leave weak dents, something that no slashing attacks could accomplish. He can also bite into human skin with little effort or thought, enough the even leave deep bite marks. This method of jaw power is so brutal that it was even shown to rip off the dorsal fin of Hanz, and also tears and break through his massive lobster-like claws. His jaws and sharp teeth are one of his most lethal weapons right by his swordsmanship and animal strength. His strength in biting alone was also demonstrated when he bit into Erza's swords, tearing them apart like paper. -Anti-Magic/Ethernano: As revealed in the confrontation with Essence, Craig is revealed to have absolute zero ethernano in his body. That means he is unable to use magic and is basically a normal guy. Without ethernano, however, he can pass through anti-magic barriers such as the third shield that kept all mages and every single living creature with ethernano from reaching Essence. Despite not able to use magic, Craig is beyond formidable. -Mutation: In the past, it was revealed that Craig has succumbed to being a mutation to save the island and country of Enca. He was temporarily altered in terms of appearance and powered up to astronomical levels, but after getting the DNA spliced out, he was returned to himself, but he had side effects, like not being complete human, meaning he pass through certain DNA barriers. -Chi Utilizer: For some odd reason, after unlocking a few memories in the midst of combat, Craig has ascertained a few new powers. Though they are not magic related, he is able to unlock the concept of chi. With chi, Craig is able to turn one's own flow of energy against the adversary. The concept involves a vast number of steps, which involves clearing the mind, allowing no thoughts in. Craig is then able to picture the waves of energy flowing in his fiingerprints and the energy of attacks aimed for him. He thus enables a few tactics which help him fight.
Current Status: So far, things are very much slow for me these days. I've become a little less active in my writing, so now my usual updates each month is around 3-4. Between "From Depths We Rise" and "The Contender's Ascent", the updates for either could range from one week to like a month, especially with how rough this summer will be looking for me. Kalos Vacation Training - I hardly work on it, but I'll try and keep at least 1 update every couple of months or so. Depends on what comes to mind. Thanks for reading and looking at my stories! :) |
