Honestly just here for the kicks, as I find AO3 too big and Wattpad too confusing.

I enjoy reading fic a lot more than actually writing it, which is soooo productive.

Little bit about me for those who are brave enough to be curious;

I write Gen, sorry folks. Mostly profanity and vulgarity free too I'm female, ace and still learning to adult For the record, I have out-grown Fangirling, so now I Fanlady... don't even ask I'm an Introvert, which is why I'm on here instead of out there

Anyway, my Fandoms include (but are not limited to) Star Trek, Supernatural, Dr Who, Sherlock, Elementary, Star Wars, How to Train Your Dragon, Treasure Planet, All the Wrong Questions. My Pseudoms include Steven Universe, Avatar: TLA, and various brick-a-brack.

Lastly, I present my mission statement. People often ask, why on earth I spend my time reading Fanfiction when there are so many 'real' books to read and 'real' movies to watch.

Drives me insane -_-

The answer is not simple enough, or short enough, for an introvert to try and explain to someone in person. So I'll write it here, to vent;
I read fanfiction, write fanfiction, prefer fanfiction, because it's actually where the universes I love come alive. With canon books and movies, we're often limited to one writer's or director's interpretation of a character, event or world. And it's... just kinda... flat... With fanfiction, every writer adds his own meaning, own insight, own life, into a story or character. New information surfaces all the time, new theories and ideas are introduced, tested, discarded or accepted and woven into the fandom. Character motives are examined, their actions brought under scrutiny from so many different points, it gives them new depth and meaning. The universe changes, it adapts, it's a web of stories and timelines and writers and readers, ever changing and ever expanding.

Fanfiction - it's alive, ever-changing, ever-growing, and that's why I'm here.
