A new kid is transferred to Elmore junior high from halfway across the world. Sun shines on his path when he starts befriending all the whacky and zany people that he meets. Except, that's just his delusional expectation. Real life is difficult. Attending a class with younger kids because you got held back a year is difficult. Living in a town full of monsters, is difficult.

Gumball's world is temporarily flipped upside down when he realizes that the feelings he had always known he had for Penny were, for a brief second, shared with Carrie. It only takes a second to make him rethink everything he knows up until this point, however, and he begins to explore these new feelings of his to see where it may take him. (GumballxCarrie)

When Gumball and Darwin win four tickets to a movie, they think that going on a double date with their girlfriends would be a great idea. Unfortunately, since nothing ever goes as planned in their lives, Carrie and Penny end up getting into a pretty bad fight. Things worsen from there.
