Anyway. Hi, I'm Paisleylace, I recently rekindled my love for Yugioh thanks to catching the abridged series in a related videos column and reread the entire manga in just under a week, then both the sub and dub anime in a week. I'm in card game anime hell. My favorite character, if you couldn't tell, is Ryou Bakura.

One day, I'll catch up on GX/Zexal/5Ds/Arc-V. But that day is not today.

Please note that I consider Darkside of Dimensions as canon as Pyramid of Light, which is to say not very canon at all. I'm also not really a fan of it in general. So, anything brought up in that movie does not apply here. (Unless it does. Don't worry, I'll leave a note.)

My passion for Yugioh has dropped off the face off the earth and has been gone for several months. Nothing to do with drama or things like that, I'm just kinda burnt out and finding myself struggling to write. My readers deserve better than me half-assing a chapter that hasn't got any love in it.

I'm sorry for not saying this sooner. I'll probably come back one day, but not anytime soon.

Fics - Series

Complicity: I am Tendershipping trash deep down, here's my AU where they have a chance to get to know each other. It's a full AU, so some crucial things might differ from the main series but these will be explained/foreshadowed rather heavily. I have Plans for this fic; I wish I'd had those same Plans when I first thought 'what if Ryou found out?' and spat out that first chapter.

Heart of Magic: A post-series attempt at spooky scary things and forcing myself to write a POV exclusive to not only one character, but a character whose POV I almost never see with this secret OTP of mine. It's gonna be a little vignette-ish for a while before I feel ready to start adapting the DOMA arc, since I won't be following it exactly. I like vignettes though so it's fine. Hopefully you do too.

Light and Dark: This is where all the angst concentrates. It was going to be purely a romance based fic, but then I started thinking 'well, HOW do Atem and Bakura come back? Why? Why does Yami Malik get to come back too?' and now it has a plot. It's not quite here yet, but it will be. Please ignore the first chapter, it's only around for purely historical purposes.

The Procrastination AU: A loosely connected bunch of oneshots regarding post-canon Bakura, Malik and Ryou trying to deal with each other, which may one day become conspireshipping. Also there's a pug called Zorc.

Time Wizard Eat Your Heart Out: Jounouchi travels back to the beginning of the series in a desperate attempt to avert the apocalypse, dragging a few people back with him.

Howl: Wishshipping fantasy story, which is sort of a spiritual successor of the now discontinued series 'The Creature From The Deep'. Now with 65% less word bloat!

Fics - Oneshots

Superstitious: Prequel to Heart of Magic so if you wanna read that you should probably read this first. It was my first attempt at HoM's narrative style and I liked it so I stuck with it.

Amane: Written on impulse after getting mad that most of the Amanes I encountered were basically just Shizuka with white hair.

Spring Cleaning: A sorta happy sorta not oneshot about life after Zorc in the realm of monsters. Despite the author's note, I'm now 98% sure this will not factor into HoM.
