After being bitten in Afghanistan, John Watson is honourably discharged after presenting as an Omega. He is sent to the Centre, a location that keeps Omegas in order to pair them with a compatible Alpha through a five step process. For John, this place has become a prison. However, that is soon to all change for John when an Alpha finally decides to go through the process with him.

Not too long after "A Study in Pink," John Watson finds that he has a secret admirer. While Sherlock finds it intriguing, John isn't entirely sure what he's getting himself into. As with everything dangerous, though, he goes in head-first.

John Watson had always assumed that he would never play a major role in Moriarty's game. He is taken by surprise when Moriarty makes a shocking demand: one month with John Watson in exchange for Britain's tactical positions and plans in Afghanistan. John has now become a pawn to be used as both Moriarty and Mycroft please. But what everyone forgets is that a pawn has power, too.

Sherlock returns to 221b without warning or preamble, but John can't forgive him that easily. This is how I imagine the reunion, confrontation, and resultant argument I'm sure we'll get in some form in 3x01.

Sherlock didn't much care that his brother was dating his DI. But then they went a step too far and did certain things in 221B that Sherlock would rather not think about. Sherlock likes to pretend to be adverse to garlic, mirrors, crosses etc. All in an effort to freak Anderson out. John catches on, and aids Sherlock. They make a bet on when Anderson will finally break and bring a wooden cross and mallet to work. Please don't sue me, I don't own Sherlock.

Watson's thoughts during Holmes' Hiatus.

It was only when people actually saw John working as a physician that they began to understand: that it wasn't just about bullets and IEDs and trauma care under fire. That "doctor" actually covered a pretty wide field. And that John was bloody good at covering ground. 5 times Dr. Watson treated others and 1 time he treated himself.

When Donovan discovers an old secret John Watson considered long buried - a ten-year old "Men of the Armed Forces" calendar which has John as a very enticing pin-up for August, it might change the way everyone sees the unassuming sidekick, even Sherlock Holmes.
