HEY EVERYONE!!!!!!!

So personally, I don't love to read what other, dare i say, non-writers pieces that rip off extremely talented people , but I have to say something about how hard all of you try. Please don't take this the wrong way, I love all of you! But the creativity of you guys is a bit saddening. I bet all of you could do WAY better if you used only your content. But I can't change all of you. So, please read what I have to say. It's all original work that doesn't tag off of a famous book or "POP" writing pieces.

LITTLE BITT ABOUT ME:

I really love swimming and playing basketball.

Likes in a story: Description porn (scenery porn, food porn, etc), showing that you have definitely done your research, complex characters that break the mold of the popular culture archetypes (a nerdy jock, a open-minded and academic hick, authority figures that are reasonable, etc), moral ambiguity, mind screws here and there, snark, humorous self-depreciation, extreme creativity in world-building, moments of awesome, monsters, eldritch abominations, FOR SCIENCE, adorable critters, karmic stuff happening to smug extremists/assholes/hipsters, simply overdosing on trope.

Dislikes in a story: Where romance takes over the plot like some metastasizing growth (if the story's good enough, I'm willing to overlook this), not doing basic research on a subject and getting the simplest things blatantly wrong, love triangles, massive amounts of wangst, making a person OOC for the sake of shipping, demonization for the sake of shipping, heavy-handed soapboxing that comes off as hypocritical/poorly-researched, making law enforcement/military always chaotic evil without good reason, love triangles, ragging on religion or science, ragging on certain entities just because it is popular to "fight the power" rather than any structured reason, smug protagonists who aren't intentionally written to be unsympathetic, love triangles...

BTW!!! I will try to post twice a month. If I don't just leave a comment. Also, I would appreciate all the help i can get.
