Holy crap, it's been a long time!

It's hard to believe that 4 months have gone by since I reposted The Yankee. I had almost forgotten that I even had it posted until I recieved a few reviews (thanks!). Man, was I self-absorbed. Real life can have that effect, I guess.

The good news? To make up for my tardiness I've posted 5 chapters of The Yankee all at once, with Chapter 19 being completely new--not posted the first time around! I won't estimate when I'll have chapter 20 done, but rest assured, Reggie's journey is nearly at an end. I will put one date down: November 1st--this is the kickoff for National Novel Writing Month (or NaNoWriMo) and I plan on putting my efforts into that and not Mary Sue fics. My goal is to have The Yankee done by that date and I'm counting on you all to keep me to that...all...8 who probably read this story. ;)

As for Everything That Has A Beginning...yeah...that's still very much in my head and difficult to get onto paper. Especially now that we have new canon, for which I am grateful for every day.

I do have one drabble I hope to have up here sometime and hopefully more to follow.

Again, thanks for those who comment...thanks to those who read...and thanks to those who don't spork me into oblivion even though I justly deserve it. ;)
