Author has written 3 stories for Digimon, W.I.T.C.H., and Wolf's Rain.

3.21.11

Let me preface this by saying that I haven't really written anything above 5 pages for the purpose of publication, fanfiction or original, in somewhere near three or four years. Not only am I long overdue for a good writing adventure, I am horribly and embarrassingly rusty. Liek, fr srs.

That being said, hello. I have a variety of online identities, but I'm actually quite fond of Crayon, or Cray. It's what you'll hear most often.

I write, I read, I draw, I read, I sing in my car, I read, I eat lots of fantastic food... and I'm sure I'm missing something else... vitally important... ah well, it'll come to me. I do love great movies and all sorts of books, but as you'll notice from my fanfiction subjects, I'm a bit of an anime addict as well, not to mention video games and the occasional manga (which I don't read nearly as much as I used to). Current absolute favorites include Full Metal Alchemist and Ghost in the Shell, and I love my classics like Sailor Moon, Digimon, DBZ and Cardcaptor Sakura. And believe it or not, as tacky as some of them are, I actually like English Dubs. I shall heart Vic Minogna till the end of my days, and Scott McNeil, Richard Cox, and Crispin Freeman are more than welcome to let their voices drift in and out of my ears as much as they want to. So there.

One of these days, I shall be a bonafied, certified, farm fresh novelist... but until then you get these, plus my occasional romps through NanoWrimo sometime toward the end of the year.

Anyone who comments at all shall be smothered with all the digi-love I can muster.

Haters and trollers shall be string cheesed.

And a last parting thought before I let you loose among my literary foibles...

I read.

Writerly Thingies

Let it be known that everything currently up (as of 3.21.11) is getting a major rehaul- either it'll be taken down and rewritten from the bottom up, or I will come to my senses, wonder what the hell I was thinking, and erase all traces of its existence, both from the interwebs as well as my memory.

Here's what's going on:

Digimon Heroes: Not at all sure about this. It was ambitious to begin with, and I never really had much of a map to follow. For me, this was a response to the challenge that the official fifth season of "Digimon" raised simply by existing. It was such a bitter disappointment for me, even watching one or two episodes, that I felt determined that I could write something better than that. And I set out to do just that. Now, whether or not I want to keep up with it is still up in the air, but suffice it to say that, for now, there are other things I'd like to worry about. So, read it while you can, cause it's not going to stay for long, and if it does come back, it'll be much different with shorter, more coherent chapters and some sense of what the hell I'm going to do next.

Witch Tales: I'm fairly sure this one shall be coming down with little to no plans of resurrection. It was an idea I had to moreorless tell the same story in a slightly different way, and as time has passed, I've not only lost the inspiration for it, but also a lot of the clever twists and tie-ins I had to make this story a relevant and justified birth child of the original series. Sorry for any who did enjoy it while it lasted...

The Last Flower: I've had this idea in my head since the beginning of college (I'm not telling you how long ago that was- I'm still in college, and this fact still embarrasses me XD), and my love for it has not waned. In fact, I'd say it's matured, with better ideas to create that which I want to say without giving too much away. So this one is definitely going to be re-written, you can be sure of that.

All Dogs Go to Heaven: An idea created around the same time as The Last Flower, just with a lot less screen time. It'll be written about Inuyasha, which is still one of my favorite series to write fanfiction for, and already in progress. And it was all inspired by a single, very important question that no one ever seems to bring up... what would have happened if Buyo slept in on Kagome's 15th birthday?

Yeah... I'll let you stew on that.

In other news...

As I get things underway, I'd love to get a really good beta reader that I could partner up with. Someone who's fun and funny, and appreciates the same in return, as well as flexibility and a thoughtful, inventive approach to ideas and suggestions. Send me a message if you think that could be you, or someone you know. I'm friendly, potty-trained, and... well... I read. XD
