I am a lover of words and books, as one may deduce from my screenname. Logophile is Greek for lover of words. ^-^ Stats: Personality: I believe that it is important for people to have a slight bit, if completely unneccesary, information on someone they find an interest in. This would save them the trouble of having to email the person or IM them which could quite possibly lead them into more than they could handle. This being said, I'll now write a little on my personality, though it is prone to be biased as the opinions typed shall be mine. Believe them to your own discretion. I am a tolerant person by nature, not one to be easily upsetted or swayed by insults and flames; if someone dislikes my story enough to actually write an angered comment about it, I must have done something to of provoked them. As an avid reader, I consider myself to be an excellant judge of writing styles and a seasoned critic, but I strongly believe in building people up rather than tearing them down, so most if not all of my reviews shall contain either praise and/or suggestions concerning the future of you fanfiction. I also find that it's far better to write a story that will challenge one as a writer and in turn cause the author to develop/become more knowledgable in their style. Interests: I have a fanscination with cultures and the 'Old World'. Studying and reading are two of my favorite pasttimes. I have indulged myself with a great many novels and in the procces have come to attain quite a collection of some of literature's finest works, Dickens and Shakespeare being among my favorites and among those more easily recognized by my readers. Philosophy, psychology, and mythology are my three most favorite subjects. Hmm.. I also have found myself to be an anime otaku(literally translated, the former word is Japanese for 'nerd'). I enjoy reading and discovering new animes as well as picking up new drawing styles until I can settle into my own. I have become more drawn to the shoujo (female/girl) mangas than others, and my favorites include the ever popular Sailor Moon, Fushigi Yuugi, and all of Clamp's work. As a result of my becoming an fan of these Japanese comics, I have studied their language and history in depth, and are continuing to do so in present. You can expect a few fanfictions out of me, and most will be romantic comedies, but allow me to explain one thing quite clearly: GOOD WRITING CANNOT BE RUSHED. Though a writer feels a need to update their stories quickly for the demanding audiences, I feel it is neccessary to allow an author time and space for them to carefully develop the plot and their characters. This allows the writer to produce a better story, hence making the readers that much more loyal to the story. Despite what conclusions you most probably have drawn from my tilted opinions concerning my personality and such, I'll have to say this in defense: I do enjoy talking to people, though I have low tolerance for stupidity. I also enjoy e-mail buddies who talk all about their lives- in short, I live to listen to other's ramblings. So in the event that you find anything of interest concerning my personal being, I would be more than happy to recieve an instant message and/or e-mail from you. ^_^ That's about all I can think of at present, yet I do intend to update this profile upon the spawning of boredom within my life.
