![]() Author has written 1 story for RWBY. G'day mate! I know my username is TheySayImMad, but trust me, I'm not actually mad. Following in Holmes' footsteps, I'm only really a 'highly functioning sociopath'. As of writing this profile, I'm slugging through my final year of highschool (ugh, exams). Some of my favourite shows/works of fiction have been Log Horizon, FMA:Brotherhood, GoT (both the show and the books), Christopher Paolini's Eragon series and capitalism. I'll probably be expanding the list because those are the ones off the top of my head. I would definitely recommend you to all check them out if you haven't already, except Eragon which is probably only for those hardcore fantasy readers. Oh, and capitalism. You probably shouldn't look at that: there's so much fiction there. Outside of school, I'm a fencer; I've been fencing for a couple of years now, and also around 2 at the international level. I also happen to be an avid F2P Hearthstone player. Now that the final wing of KFC, I mean, KFT is out, I've also read some "classics" from time to time. If you're looking for a heavier, thought provoking and insightful time reading (IDK why you would want that right now if you're on a site about fanfiction but... these are all good texts), some recommendations include Nineteen Eighty-Four and Animal Farm by George Orwell, The Spy Who Came In From the Cold by John le Carre (formerly David Cornwell), The Prince, by Niccolo Machiavelli, The Art of Travel by Alain de Botton, Utopia by Sir Thomas More and Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck. As you can probably see from my lexicon, I'm Australian through and through (Yeah! 'Straya!). By the way, I totally agree with spelling 'meter' instead of 'metre', but I'll be sticking with the latter for now because I don't want to fail my exams. I'm also relatively new to fanfics so please bear with me and my shoddy writing: I promise it'll clean up with time. As of right now - 03/09/17, all writing will be on hiatus until after my finals. This is the NORMAL way to write dates by the way :P (DD/MM/YY) Update: Just got back from a bunch of holidays in NZ, then a national training camp, then Canberra Opens and finally a 5 week fencing tour in Europe. And now, I'm officially off hiatus :)))))) I've only read a limited amount of material on this website, but here are my recommendations so far: A World of Bloody Evolution by RedrumSprinkles RWBY meets Warhammer 40K! But more the other way around... The story follows Yang Xiao Long as she is thrown into the conflict of the Imperium, just as Abaddon the Despoiler launches his 13th black crusade upon systems within the Segmentum Obscurus (999M41 as the exact date). I'm currently at Chapter 14 of roughly 70 (and ongoing), hoping that Eldrad Ulthran or Trazyn the Infinite will make an appearance... Also, I happen to be a Tau player but right now, they're still in the "space commies inhabiting a tiny part of the galaxy" stage of 40K lore without their planet blowing railguns yet so... my hopes are not high for them. The Ozpin Files by Anon_H (Archive of Our Own) The funny take on what Cinder finds after hacking into the the Cross Continental Transmit System. It's got everything you could want in a comedy one shot; it's a stress reliever, and a good one at that. In the works I'm currently doing a RWBY series, The First Great War: A Seminal Tragedy, as practise; one may hope my writing ability gets better but, who knows. It might just all be in vain. |
