The worst thing about signing up for a new service is that they always want to you write one of these pesky bios, but I guess I'll have to give it a go:

I'm a homesick expat who's been lurking on this site longer than I care to admit. I've also been writing fanfiction of different kinds since long before I knew there was such a thing -- but I write for myself and for my own pleasure only, so you won't find any writings of mine on this site. Unless I go insane and/or aliens take over my body, that is. After all, stranger things have happened in my life, so I have learnt that you never really know anything for sure.

Not much of a bio, this, but I still think I'll leave it at that for now. I wouldn't want to spill it all on our first date. ;)
