Two plus two equals four, I put sugar in my coffee and it tastes sweet, the sun comes up because the world turns - these things are beautiful to me. There are mysteries I will never understand, but everywhere I look I see proof that for every effect there is a corresponding cause, even if I can't see it. I find that reassuring.

Unfocus your eyes and allow patterns to arise from what looks like chaos.

My writing:

I like writing about the characters that I have grown to know and love, yet I like adding my own little spin on them. I think being able to put them into real world situations and how they would react to the modern world is fun and exciting. I do try to keep as close to the original characterizations that the author created, but there's my own voice in there as well.

I'm wanting to be a writer and I actually went to university to be an English teacher, so I find that writing fanfics is a good way for me to get some practice in. Granted, it's been years since I last wrote a fanfic, but it's just like riding a bike. I'm hoping that by writing some more it will help get back into the flow of things and get my creative juices flowing. Who knows, I may end up writing my own story and putting it up here for the internet world to see.

I do encourage feedback because how I am supposed to grow when I don't know what I'm doing right or wrong? I mean, it's not like the reader will be determining how my stories go, but it does help to know if there's something they are confused on or need clarification.
