I'm 17, live with my parents, older brother, grand-mother and dog. I go to boarding school and I have short-ish brown hair and grey-blue eyes. I'm 5 foot 4 tall as well.

I was born in the Hague in the Netherlands but we moved to the Midlands when I was two. We moved to my current home about 11 years ago.

I also have another sibling who is 27. She started off life as a boy but decided he was bisexual at 18, had a relationship with a guy at university. my parents found out then my brother decided to have a sex change as he had always felt like a woman trapped in a man's body. She had the sex change about three years ago and now lives with her girlfriend in a studio flat. This was all very difficult for my parents and as a result my sister got very depressed and has been on anti-depressants for a long time and finds it very difficult to work.

My brother is 26 and lives at home because he failed to find a training contract when he left university. He is slowly pulling himself together but everything's pretty difficult right now.

Music-wise I like punk, rock, metal and indie, with some left-field hip hop and stuff thrown in. Basically if you ever listen to Steve Lamacq, Zane Lowe, John Peel, Mike Davies and Mary Anne Hobbs on Radio 1, that's the stuff I like, pretty much anything they play!

Also, my fave bands are Alkaline Trio, Anti Flag, Ani Difranco and Sikth (and #1 defender, the guy I'm seeing is the lead vocalist). At the mo I'm starting to get into harcore.

My favourite literary figures include Sylvia Plath, JD Salinger and Mervyn Peake, to name a few.

I am also interested in current affairs, I'm libertarian socialist and am disgusted by the state of the world.

I post my stuff here to get reviews from people I don't know. I want to know the truth, so don't worry about sugaring the pill. if something can be improved, tell me.
