Name: Eleanor Age: 17 Gender: Female Birthdate: October 5, 1988 Astral Sign: Libra Chinese: Dragon Intrests: - Reading: I used to read all the time in middle school, I still enjoy it, but now Inever have the time. -Writing: I'm not as good as I would like to be. I'm really working on skills, structure, and vocabulary. Syntax in general. - Drawing: Again, when I have free time. And no, I don't doodle during class, it makes my paper look messy. But when I get the opportunity to spend decent ammounts of time on just the art, you get some super cool stuff. Oh, and I only use a gum eraser. - Painting: I like to use dry-brush to get the basic under levels of color to blend just the way I want them. And then a soft, damp medium size brushto get the "basic" shape, or templete rather, with (finer)dry-brush follow up. Repeat step two, but instead of dry-brush, I use a soft fan brush. Next, I do the details, to make the medium look "real" (shadows and depth). Then touch up witha little detail brush to finnish. It's literaly the size ofan end of a pencil. - Photography: I use a Cannon Power-Shot elph SD110. But I have to admit I do a bit of editing with my photos when I'm "done" with them. Well... that and I manipulate them using photoshop. Meaning, if a girl had brown eyes in my photo... she could have blue eyes with photomanipulation. I have a soft spot for eyes... . they're just more fun. . To be creative with. Oh, and I have a gallary on deviantART. - Singing: I'm in Choir at school. Have been since the seventh grade, and since then I have made Region Mixed Choir (8th), and Honor Choir (10th). I also do Solo and Ensamble every year, and get all around one's. I'm a first soprano, and can't sing alto to save my life. My vocal range is wacky. - Horseback Riding: I ride English once to twice a week at Ravensway Stables, in Ravensway. . I don't think I could call myself a beginner anymore... but the horse I ride is. His name is Sid, and he's a draft horse. No, HUGE draft horse. He was trained by the Ahmish, and he pulls carriges for his owner. So, Sid had NO English style riding on his resume. But he's not doing so bad... it took him forever to start jumping. It's weird, it's like I'm teaching him how to jump... and canter. But it's still fun, I work on my form and rythem more often than not. I have to wear an ankle brace on my right foot, for some reason there is a funny weak spot and it just hurts like nothing else. I think I need new riding boots... Oh, and I like to shop. |
