![]() Author has written 5 stories for Legend of Zelda. 3-15-2003: My name is Laurie, and I want a falafel. 10-20-2009: Well, I'm back. After a short hiatus of seven years, I've caught the fanfiction bug again, which is good, because I'm sick of my original fiction and need a break. About me: I like to make photo collages and angst about my life. :P And I still want a falafel. 12-11-2015: My name is still Laurie, I still want a falafel, and I still like to write fanfiction and angst about my life. 4-8-2016 UPDATE: That Which We Have Loved is undergoing a slightly massive edit. I took down the story, originally published in 2009 in a fit of bitterness a few months ago and now I'm putting it back up with some serious structural changes and possibly a few plot changes? We'll see ;) I will try to update every week beginning in May 2016!! My fanfiction: That Which We Have Loved- (Zeldas I, II and IV) - This story asks, what can distance and time do to love? Link is stranded on Koholint Island and must somehow find his way back to Hyrule. Zelda, in the meantime, has to keep her kingdom together under the increasing pressure of an unknown threat. And all the while, Link and Zelda have to cope with each others' absence. A sad, bittersweet, but hopefully triumphant story about the power of love and the inability of time and distance to diminish it. Letters- (Zeldas I, II and IV) - This is the original version of That Which We Have Loved, which I wrote about seven years ago. It's a letters-only version- there's no prose or action outside of what Link and Zelda write to each other. It's been revisited- the typos have been fixed, but stylistic problems haven't been fixed- I figure it's eight years old, it's a relic! Anyway, wasn't that what the rewrite was for? :P Ever Present- This story is actually on hiatus- I had the whole thing typed up, published the first chapter, and then lost the story!! :( I do plan on re-writing it one day, so we'll see how that goes. We'll Always Have Paris- (AU) - My first attempt at comedy. It's a fun side-project for me, but I don't really focus on it. I'll try to update at least once a year, lol Another Day- (Ocarina of Time) - This one has been a fun side project for me when That Which We Have Loved has gotten too overwhelming. It's a vignette looking at what life is like in a peaceful Hyrule after Link was sent back seven years in time after defeating Ganondorf. There may be peace in Hyrule, but is there peace in the hearts of its heroes? A bit sweet, sad and sentimental- but hopeful, as well. Enjoy! Reviews are deeply appreciated. Thanks for visiting and love to all! |
