Hello all who have wondered into my domain!

I know I'm supposed to blab about myself, put in a few of my favourite quotes, animals, foods and such, but I really don't feel like it. I mean, really, what is it going to change in your life that you know, for even just a moment, what a complete stranger likes and dislikes?

So instead, I am going to dedicate this profile to one of my most admired authors, Edgar Allan Poe. My favourite (ha ha...I know, no favourites, but I'm not going to put all of his stuff in here, so I have to narrow it down somehow) poem of his is called "A Dream Within A Dream"

Take this kiss upon the brow!

And in parting from you now

Thus much do I avow-

You are not wrong, who deem

That my days have been a dream;

Yet if hope has flown away

In a night, or in a day,

In a vision or in none

Is it therefore the less gone?

All that we see or seem

Is but a dream within a dream.

I stand amid the roar

Grains of the golden sand-

How few, yet how they creep

Through my fingers to the deep,

While I weep, while I weep!

O God! can I not grasp

Them with a tighter clasp?

O God! can I not save

One from the pitiless wave?

Is all that we see or seem

But a dream within a dream?

And since I'm too much of a lazy bum to write anything else, I am going to leave it at that for now.
