A young man marches up the stairs. Hes dressed khaki's and a green T-shirt with little or no markings upon it, and a black trenchcoat that just barely comes down to his knees - something to be blamed to his tall, lanky build. His long, brown hair is slightly matted and tied back sloppily by a hair-tie. He carries in his hands his school books and in the other his keys which were just used to unlock his front door. A pencil is resting between his teeth, and hes mumbling words that make sense only to himself. He opens his door to reveal his bedroom, his sanctum, his haven. He places his books atop his dresser which is located just to the right of the door, and throws down the keys on his bed - placed across the room directly on the floor. He walks to the far corner and switches on his computer monitor and grabs the copy of Foundation that was on his chair. He opens the book to a random place and begins ready without so much as a drop in rhythm. He sits down with his eyes glued to the book. After about 5 minutes of reading his eyebrows furl in confusion as he glances up. "Oh, hello." His voice was high surprisingly high-pitched, and yet somewhat raspy. not something youd expect from a face of angular yet femenistic face of this boy. "My name is Rob Mayer, nothing special, most likely a name you'll never hear again." He leans back. "Not that I mind." He raises a hand to his face and rubs a scratch of a gotee. "Please allow me to tell a little about myself. Im 17 and a junior in high school. Right now im attending a school known as Somerset Vo-Tech, in normal terms its a place of bureaucracy and polotics. I'm hoping to get a certain certification by the end of this school year and move on to more academic studies...On a more personal note, im dating a great lady by the name of Laurelle." He blushes slightly "We've been going out for about 4 months now, and things are going great..." Rob begins to tap his fingers filling the silence with useless noise. Rob brings his feet to the floor. "I imagine your here for more than that." His eyes have begun to take on a more fiery tone, replacing the calm and cool disposition that was once there. "Give me a few moments of your time...And I will share with you the wonders I have seen..." |
